Where you guys from? My native is near perunali, ramanathapuram district, from aruppukottai it will take 1hr. we will even eat wild cats(kaatu poonai), fox etc etc in our area, we won't spare anything.

I won't tell you where I am from. I prefer anonymity here since I live in the Middle East. However, your native is not very far from mine. And I eat everything. Did I not make that clear earlier? Udumbu, Mila, anything. My dad eats even eesal whenever we go home. But still, beef is off limits for most of my relatives. I am expected to eat beef only at restaurants and never ever bring it home or use our kitchen cutlery. I know this is how it is in most households of TN. Beef eating is nowhere prevalent in TN as you tried to portray. This is some revisionism being perpetuated by loonies.

Oh really great to hear from u......read my earlier posts I already mentioned few sects including Muslims eating for long time. Now few of them like you(no offence) joined in that league so it doesn't mean that whole TN people eating beef ryt .

Even my uncle(periyappa) used to cook beef in his home, i used to eat with him, its an exceptional case. In our hostel we will have ramzan briyani and people will fight for it, no religion comes to anyones mind while having it. Mohammad sathak, you heard in ramnad? There i did my polytechnic.

No one cares in tamil nadu what others eat, whether its a beef or something no one really bothers. That's what i want to convey ultimately, but it took so many twists and turns.

Bro,it's because of people like me that India is still a secular nation even when the majority of the country professes Hinduism.Had the majority of the population been from any Abrahamic religion then minorities would have been treated like 2nd class citizens.All this secularism is there because of Hinduism plus the value of the sentiment of 80% is much more than that of the remaining 20%.So it is the duty of the minority communities to respect the majority sentiment in this case if they want to live peacefully in this country.

And I am only asking you to take responsibility of thing which is holy to you. People of other faith are also suffering due to you faith. Stray cattle is creating problems on roads & killing people on roads. Plus they are destroying precious crops of poor farmers. Injuries to farmers while protecting their farms in common in state.

Can you show me any credible evidence that a cow has intentionally caused any human casualty or any crop damage for that matter!If you can then only then will i reply to your accusations!!

I hate meat & I don't want to slaughter animal for it. My problem with you guys is you guys are forcibly shifting your responsibility on others. If you guys are ready to take responsibility of stray cows then I am with you & I will join your campaign to ban cow slaughter.

Who told you that we don't want to take responsibility of the old and the homeless cows!!In fact the Govt. of India has already decided to open shelters in each district of the country for old/homeless bovines.I can assure you that we know our responsibility quite well and unlike some others don't shy away from them.Plus,like any other animals in India,cows also have the right to roam around and graze on any part of this country.We will definitely stop them from doing this if you can show me any law against it in our Constitution or for that matter in the I.P.C.!!

you are almost right about Tamilnadu,except Kanyakumari district...Beef eating,serving hotels are very common in Kanyakumari district..I use to eat beef from a hotel near Colachel bus stand and a hotel in manavalakuruchi town,may be because of its Christian majority-sizeable Muslim population Though many Hindus too eat it....But i have never seen a single beef serving hotels in any of the areas like darmapuri,Krishnagiri,salem etc..

This is a wrong perception thambi. I saw you are having some wrong ideas in the earlier threads itself. But I did not want to give you a detailed explanation in a troll thread. I will PM you some time.

Same case in Tuticorin where there is a sizeable Xian population. But you won't find it in predominantly Hindu towns.
