ok, I don't support governments banning anything and I've also on occasion eaten beef, I have 0 issues and don't feel strongly about all the recent drama but this set of pics made the animal lover in me happy
a cow's meat might be tasty, but it's a such a sweet benevolent beast, and given that slaughtering it here does hurt the sentiments of the majority of the population, even the veggie liberals I suspect, we should spare it.
think of it like a cigarette, generally not polite to light up in an elevator full of people, or even a taxi for that matter so why so much fuss here when it's been banned from Nehru's time to begin with ?
in some north east states it's legal, in 100% muslim neighborhoods across India I suppose it has always gone on and will continue (though the supply lines will be affected)
