Im india they reached like 200inr. Which put a lot of pressure for government. They again not accept their failure but blamed bangaldesh and their export to bangaldesh.
Which led to humiliation of bangaldesh and india banning onions.

Most onions in India are grown in Maharashtra which is ruled by Shiv Sena/NCP/Congress.

They increase onion prices before every election.

The prices are going up now because of the Bihar elections.

Prices in India will come down starting mid November after Bihar elections.

However, if exports to Bd starts, the price may rise to 200 Rs. It may be good for farming families. Could it be the govt wants businesses to get profits at the expense of producers?

So, there remains a possibility that when farmers sell out all their stocks to the market, the GoI will open trade with BD which will raise the price in India but farmers will have no leverage at that time, the exporters and businesses will have.
