You don't know jack about India's Education, and I dont know jack about chinese cos no credible news comes out beyond mainland China's iron curtain, what ever little is out there is from western media There are no negative news out of Chinese media as if nothing bad happens in China.

You know there are ten thousands of foreign students studying and thousands of foreign professors working in China and tons of exchange programmes between foreign and Chinese universities. Your iron curtain argument is BS.

so many Korean students studying in China,some reports say that half of the foreign students study in China are Koreans.

1. Mandarin language students.
2. Those who were not good enough to go to a Korean university.

A Beijing/Tsinghua University degree is worthless in Korea, you can't get a job with any of world-class Korean corporations. People who invested in Beijing University degree only found out about this cold reception at the job market upon return and had to return to China, since the only place where the Beijing University degree is worth is in China. There was recently an article about the cafeteria scene at Samsung Electronics HQ in Korea. The article reported that there were hundreds of Indian engineers dining and a heavy smell of curry unfamiliar to the Korean reporter, but he didn't see any Chinese engineer.

American employers do not prefer a Tsinghua degree at all. A Tsnghua degree is worthless to American employers seeking employees in the US. An IIT degree is considered to be roughly equivalent to an MIT degree in the US, hence the heavy recruitment.

American employers will recruit Tsinghua university graduates for their Chinese operations, but not for their US operations. Chinese students that the US corporations recruit for employment in the US are the ones who graduate from US universities.

Sorry, white Americans don't share your, uh, sentiments. It's OK that Korean BS level engineers are uh... "better". No wonder they can only make tiny little tweeks, any big move from Koreans is 100% fake like the cloning scandal.

Apparently, the IITs that are put on a pedestal do not even crack top 500, while numerous Chinese universities are in the top 50.

I dont know about the ratings but the IITs are already a well recognised brand name in the world regardless of the ratings.I know that all over the world people know the name very well and if the Chinese Univs are better than that,good for you.

To be fair, the people to people ties between US and China have been much stronger. U.S. are more willing to recognize Chinese degrees because they know what they can expect.
