Indian spy convicted in Germany for espionage

Terrific news. Its news like these that show us how RAW operates, how they keep tabs on threats to India and nations they consider as enemies of the state.

The very fact that Germany was the target tells us how Germany is using Sikh extremists to undermine Indian interests. Pretty much like how pakistan using sikh and muslim extremists from India.

A shame Ranjit S cover was blown. It appears like German intelligence counter measure against RAW. I hope after 9 months India gives a Hero's welcome to Ranjit S or whatever his real name is.

You are Hilarious

I take it you live in Germany and have shifted allegiance to Germany ?

Buddy you should read the article once more, or even get some better reports about it, because you obviously didn't understood a single bit if the case!
Nobody was spying on Germany, nobody from Germany was using any Indians. Indian intelligence agencies (German reports points to IB) hired that guy (an illegal immigrant, with other criminal charges), to get infos on Indians living in Germany (especially Sikhs), that might have relations to Sikh extremists in India.
The Germans only arrested him, because it's illegal in Germany to spy on other people, not because he was trying to get any secret infos from them. Do you really think he would have got just 9 months in jail, if he actually was a spy and trying to harm Germany? :disagree:

I am sure that India will pick up a few Germans on some charges very soon.

yeah sure, because germany pushed an illegal criminal into prison for 9 month. I dont think india is rtarded enough to create a fuss about this.

no, he has been convicted rightly. It is a crime in germany and that'S why germany is really angry with what happened with nsa and all. Plus he was not arrested for spying on germany but on Indian community with some relation to India.

Bhaiyon aur Beheno aur Saare bache khuchey...

The real story, you shall not know....

:D

If they do something against Indian law we must, but lets not act like childs here. We don't need to defend the conviction of a criminal, only because he is Indian.

If we can find bullets in the pocket of a NYPD officer then we can find something on a German tourist/resident as well. If this guy was serving us then his safety is our concern.

he serves you in prison now. :D

Nonsense, we just used him as an infortmant, but he is not in any way related to the Indian officials, otherwise he never would have got to court anyway, but the matter would had been dealt by the governments. And if we leave the useless pride factor out of the discussion, we would get to the real important points of this story.

A) that our intel is working even on foreign soil to get infos about extremists in India
B) that these Sikh extremists must be taken as a credible threat to Indian national security, otherwise we wouldn't put that much effort on getting infos about them

those who complained could be Indians too. then?

He was not serving anybody but himself. He is not related to any ministry or government of India. Plus he is convicted for breaking a german law. And it could also be that there is some personal conflict in the community out of which some one has complained. isme govt kya kare?

OK then Germany must keep him indefinitely. He must apply for political asylum in Germany.

nope, since he is illegal he will serve his 9 months and then put in a plane back home to india.
