Indian Semi-High Speed Railway Trail Run Successful

. . .
Almost everyone on Forum knows I am a Fanatic NaMo Supporter. Apparently, they know what I Mean! :D

Yes, but not many people (read, people from south and east) would know that Agra houses such a hospital.

why would it be funded? Such capabilities already exist, just need a better track and refinement. Indian railway can do that. Finally it's only semi high speed not bullet ot TGV.

Because most large projects in india are funded by foreign agency. Was just wondering where you carried your begging bowl to.

you are mistaken. Dams, Railways, Airport constructions, are not funded by any one except Indian Government. This is not a very big project.

More over, foreign companies don't fund, they invest.

The new Dehli metro was funded by Japan, built by Germany. So you are quite mistaken.

they invested it, we took the loans and profit is distributed. and iof course others have been consulted, the technology is not ingenuous but now we have this technology and can make it indigenous. The point is we have it and can build it on our own now :)

We have metro systems in 12 cities across India - six fully operational and six under construction which are to be completed before 2016 - I am pretty sure a $1.8 Trillion economy giving $1.05 billion assistance to Sri Lanka in the last 5 years and having over $1 Billion investments for the last 10 years in the same country can very well afford to fund its own metro systems - Says much about the fact that who has the "begging bowl" in hand :coffee:
