Knock it off You guys there is no comparison between indian and Chinese railways . Chinese railways are better and good
Present requirement is not HSR, not atleast for the next 15 years.
Why would India build any bullet trains. India focus on its superior Vedic tech such as transwarp drive and teletransportation. Indian tech will surpass the Borg technology.
All those shiny trains still running on rusty rails.. change them guys.. make them shiny...
I read the interview with the chief engineer, and he said the initial cruising speed will be 350km/hr, but if future needs arise, the train can cruise at 400km/hr.
Modi-ji has declared bullet trains as a priority. Modi-ji is absolutely correct. India will become a superpower in bullet trains by 2020.
you mean on 350km/h non-ballasted track? They will, now only on the circular trial railway of China Academy of Railway Science. All those shiny trains still running on rusty rails.. change them guys.. make them shiny...
Please don't quote me again. I'm least bothered with your retarded statements.
Under Modi-ji's brilliant leadership, India is moving ahead fast in all fields. After the introduction of 'semi-bullet trains' by the Indian Railways, China has responded by introducing two new models of bullet trains to stay ahead of India in this field. These new Chinese bullet trains have a cruising speeds of between 350km to 400km per hour.
I am very confident that Modi-ji and his capable ministers will quickly respond with even better semi-bullet trains to demonstrate to the Chinese and the world that India has the technology and the brains to compete with anyone in high-speed rail! India will become a bullet train superpower by 2020!
Right now china is much ahead. To what extent we shall be able to catch up will be revealed in future.
Pls read the number of KMs between HSR stations in China.Franly speaking, Bullet trains are not of much of use in india. We have a stoppage at every 30 or 40 KM. we do not have the KMs of empty land stretch. More over our tracks are very busy. We must focus on traffic management, minimizing the stoppages. If we can run our trains at 70 KM per hour at an average speed, it will be a great achievement.

That right better stay at slow speed then go for the fast speed. Too fast too furious. LolFranly speaking, Bullet trains are not of much of use in india. Right now, freight corridor connecting major industrial areas should be the major concern. And at the same time, increasing the quality of the present train coaches. I believe we can effectively run our trains at 120 kmph without any modification of our present tracks, and hence decreasing the delay.
HSR will be a liability, and a lower income group nation cannot afford such luxury.
