The reality of Electoral Politics in India is that Elections cannot be won without money. All parties indulge in corruption for political funds. Gujarat is a corrupt state because it is where BJP's funding largely comes from. This is reality and there is no point in getting all idealistic about it.
But corruption indulged by the Congress is of an entirely different kind - its for filling up family coffers, that too largely of a single family. This can be termed as shameless loot of the nation.
Money collected for elections gets spent here - it runs the wheels of the economy.
Money sent to Swiss banks is loot - its a net outflow from India.
We are not looking for saints to govern us. Kshatriya Dharma does not prescribe Brahmin like behaviour of ascetism. Kshatriyas may lie, kill, or even be corrupt -- but it should be for the service of the nation.
