And who would you hold to a higher standard?
you are innocent till proven guilty .. a govt employee is usually suspended not removed when he is under trial... if proven innocent, usually reinstated, paid all the money which he might have earned during that period.
How will you compensate somebody who wants to get elected and proven innocent later.
Its not about high or low, its about nature of work being different.
Akranthi's Proposals
Withdrawal of existing Taxation System completely (except customs i.e. import duties).
Every Transaction routed through a bank will attract certain deduction in appropriate percentage as Transaction Tax i.e. Single point tax deducted at source. (say 2 %).
This deduction is to be effected on receiving/credit accounts only.
This deducted amount will be credited to different Government levels like Central, State and Local (say 0.7%, 0.6%, 0.35% respectively).
Transacting Bank will also have its share in this amount as the bank has a key role to perform (say 0.35%).
Withdrawal of High denomination currency (say above Rs. 50).
Cash transactions will not attract any transaction tax.
Government should make legal provisions to restrict cash transactions up to a certain limit (say Rs. 2000)

Batshit crazy. y not abolish all currency make everything electronic?
You know that Sweden is going to abolish all currency but they are a developed country. You can pay cab rent on electronic machine pay for groceries on card. There are card readers every where even in Churches to take donations. In a primitive country like ours how they plan on doing that
But then again a hacker will loot all your E-money without you knowing it.It's better to have things which you can see than things which you cannot see.Sweden model will not work in India as we are in a hostile neighbourhood, where they try to weaken your nation by any means.
China routinely engages Cyber warfare VS west.So E-Money of India will vanish in a day if implemented. We are not that primitive it's just that certain models work in certain countries and in others it wont't work,Going by your record the rest of world including USA,europe should be primitive countries since they still continue using paper currency instead of E-Currency ONLY!

Decoding the youth vote: Modi ahead with first-time voters, India Today poll shows
Young people are increasingly becoming a votebank unto themselves - and a formidable one at that.
While there were close to 100 million first-time voters when the nation went to the polls in 2009, debutant voters - who number 149.36 million according to the Election Commission - will comprise 20 per cent of India's electorate in the Lok Sabha elections next year.
Consequently, the vote of this group is going to be a major factor in deciding which way the winds blow in 2014. And it is with the intention of gauging just how India's youngsters perceive the political landscape of the country that the India Today Group and CVoter carried out the Youth Survey 2013, which threw up some surprising, and some not-so-surprising, details.
For example, when asked who between Rahul Gandhi and Narendra Modi would make a better Prime Minister, 47.2 per cent of the 5,014 respondents chose the latter. The Congress scion, on the other hand, was the PM-of-choice for some 33.9 per cent.
Owing perhaps to Modi's anointment as the BJP's PM candidate, 47.2 per cent of India's first-time voters believe that the 2002 Gujarat riots will be an important issue in the upcoming elections.
While a resounding 82.2 per cent said they wanted the next government at the Centre to uphold the country's secular credentials, 49.4 per cent still opine that the Ram temple will be a crucial issue for voters.
The BJP and its allies seem to have won the youngsters' favour with over 34.8 per cent admitting their vote will go to the NDA. The Congress and its allies, on the other hand, are likely to get 26 per cent of their votes.
The India Today Group-CVoter poll reveals that 40.5 per cent of those surveyed feel the Indian youth is best represented by the BJP, against 30 per cent who said the same about the Grand Old Party of India.
When it comes to the issues closest to their hearts, though, career and family matters are what our debutant voters are most concerned about. Finding a good job, for example, has 76.3 per cent voters very concerned, followed by parents' reaction to what they do (75.1 per cent) and health of family elders (74.2 per cent).
The Falling rupee (63.8 per cent), poverty (62.7 per cent) and terror attacks (61.8 per cent) are sixth, seventh and eighth, respectively, on the list of things they are most concerned about.
Among social issues, burgeoning prices will decide the vote of 25.5 per cent of the respondents, followed by corruption (21.1 per cent).
As many as 90.2 per cent of the first-time voters said they are looking forward to vote in the general elections next year, out of whom 73 per cent of boys and 58.2 per cent of girls are optimistic that their votes will make a difference to the country's political set-up.
In fact, 37.6 per cent of the respondents said they are ready to take the leap into politics.

WTF is wrong with These people .?
im really worried about those 33.9% of people who would like to see R gandhi as PM , along with 49% of them who still consider Ram temple as an important issue ..?
The frustration of Congressis is just unbelievable..
