how many rounds....how is score calculated etc.?

Total number of rounds 4, 18 holes in each round. After 2 rounds there is a qualification cutoff, usually of 50-60 golfers (depending on tie scores). Each hole has an individual par. If you score par, called even par, you get 0, if you can complete the hole in less shots than par you get a negative score. For example if a hole has 4 as par and you complete it in 3 shots, you get a -1 (birdie), if you complete it in 2 shots, you get -2 (eagle). If you go over par, you get a + score (bogey, double bogey and so on). The total par of this course is 71. Aditi has now scored 6 under par after 2 rounds (-6 total). She is currently in the second position score-wise and only behind by one shot ( the co-leaders have -7 so far). So she has a very good shot. Of course she will have to maintain such level in R3 and R4.

To be really fair.........medal tally doesn't show the real revolution which is taking place in Indian sports...........
