PV Sindhu will face Carolina Marin in the Women's Singles Badminton Final at 7:30 PM IST on Friday
@jaunty you were so right man..........
I also felt that it was the pressure that first medal that got over to Indian players..........
Sakhshi broke the jinx.....
if jitu rai had won medal earlier in the games than surely we would have got into double digits!!
PV Sindhu will face Carolina Marin in the Women's Singles Badminton Final at 7:30 PM IST on Friday
Saw her yesterday, her score was -2, so thought she may end outside points, but she shocked everybody by -6 and tied with other four players for 2nd spot. What an amazing performance from Sindhu, absolutely dominated her opponent in the second game.
The Chinese player's injury also helped her because she was almost guaranteed to win a bronze at least.
I don't know if you guys follow golf but Aditi Ashok finished R2 with only one shot behind the leader. If she can keep her consistency like the first two rounds she has a decent shot of a podium finish.

I watched both matches...Marin's as well as Sindhu's.....Today I found Sindhu better. Lets hope she continues to dominate tomorrow as well.Carolina too strong ..lets hope Sindhu beat her..
Sindhu definitely has the firepower to beat Marin, in fact she has beaten Marin in the past. It's about keeping her cool in tight situations.
