Posting a rational analysis doesn't make me person living in valley of hatred. Simple mindedness does gain appreciation but it always doesn't work. The point of my participation in this thread was not to see things through Pakistani point scoring spree as most of you have been doing here like the drama your navy and people did at shores when bringing back hostages from pirates but before enacting unprofessionally at high seas (well proved by the video).

As i said the crew will reveal if they were force landed or simple landed in your territory and then your people were able to know their presence. PA has all the right to fire whatever at a plane who is violating your air space. But they didn't may be because they were not able to detect before the helli landed. May be the crew is compromised, was defecting or was delivering some sensitive information to PA; many possibilities including the one you guys have already digested. The investigation will be done, till then you carry on spreading love and spare me minor who is full of hate as you said.

Hi, let me ask a simple question. What will shooting down a 60's vintage Alouette helicopter accomplish in the bigger scheme of things? Nothing! The helicopter was forced down, and it was determined they strayed due to bad weather and it was released. Now what is wrong with this?

If the Pakistani government wants to really act tough, why does it not take on the drones over FATA? Let's see what type of reaction they get back from that.

After interrogation - and examination of the aircraft by Army and Air Force experts - story of the indian crew was confirmed, (it was carrying spare parts, for another indian aircraft) - it was refueled and sent back on it's way, it was escorted out of Pakistani airspace by Air Force fighters to the LOC.

Also can confirm that PAF was scrambled - when the Heli was picked up on the Radar network, heli was instructed to land, or otherwise be shot down. AWAC's were reportedly also involved.

More information - helicopter was being tracked from deep within IOK airspace, when it reached within a few kilometers of LOC, AWACS controllers on board - scrambled F7 fighters from - airbase (will not name it on an open forum) - heli was told to land at nearest air force base, a welcoming party was on the ground, apparently the occupants were terrified - (maybe because of their own sides propaganda) - Officers on ground took them into custody, weapons were in the hands of the soldiers but were not pointed at the prisoners.

They were then thoroughly de-briefed, while Army and Air Force officials examined the Heli with a fine tooth comb. After story was verified, situation was resolved.
