Indian CAS tol visit BD and take salute during BMA passing out parade

I have also written a book called 'Razakars and so called Bangladeshi nationalists'! The main idea of the book was how the razakars were not punished and how they gained in Bangladesh in 80s and 90s. I have handed over it to IA chief to give it to BA chief!

General Singh fought for Bangladesh in 1971, he will fight again to liberate Bangladesh from the razakars.

@ The father of BA Chief was also Razakar ??? As his father was in Pakistan Army as Major !!!!(as per the assumption of AL)

I think that is wonderful. I would very much like to get a copy. Could you send me a link so I can read the reviews. (sarcasm - as if I believe you)

It sells and he will not have to publicise it on forums or hand it over free except to those worthy of the book!

Can anyone explain to me what this "7 point" policy is?

When the war mounted in 1971 and no way to escape, Indira Gandhi chained the Temporary Bangladesh Government in October-1971 by signing the treaty. The treaty is called ‘7 –point secret treaty'. The conditions of the treaty were extracted from Masudul Haq(1990,pp.92):

• Those who actively participated in the liberation war (1971), only; they will be allowed to stay at the administration. The rest of the officials would be sacked and the vacant posts would be filled up by Indian administrative officials.

• After the liberation war the Indian soldiers (required number) would stay in Bangladesh (there was no time limit about how long they would stay). From November, 1972 to review the matter a meeting between the two countries would be arranged in the following every year.

• There will be no separate Military for Bangladesh .

• To check the discipline of law and order in the country a Para Military force would be formed encircled by Mukti Bahini(Liberation force).

• The Indian Chief of the staffs of the Military would lead the possible India-Pakistan war, not the Chief of Mukti Bahini, and during the war time the Mukti Bahni would be under Indian command.

• The business of the two countries would be open market based. But the number of the business would be determined in every year and the dues would be paid by Sterling (Pounds.)

• In the case of relation between Bangladesh and other states, the Foreign Ministry would contact with Indian Foreign Ministry and India would assist as long she could.

The treaty was signed by Temporary President Syed Nazrul Islam. That man became fainted after he had signed the treaty. (According to Masudul haq, 1990, pp.93)

How did he "become fainted"?

A part of the 7 point?

What is the relevance of his fainting?

If it is a secret, how is it that you know?

About the 7 point, that is.

Origin of Military Salute

There are many theories. Here is one:

Saluting in the British (and Commonwealth) armed forces is believed to have originated from the Knights of Medieval times, who as a sign of respect to someone they trusted would lift up their visors of their helmets with their right hand, which showed that they were unarmed (you typically carried your sword in the right hand,) as well as exposed their face to show they trust you, as well as allowing you to identify them. This is where the motion of the hand raising comes from.

The naval salute, with the palm downwards may have originated because the palms of naval ratings, particularly deckhands, were often dirty through working with lines: it would be insulting to present a dirty palm to an officer, so the palm was turned downwards. More likely it is simply the more natural position of the hand when seizing the peak of a cap. During the Napoleonic Wars, British crews saluted officers by touching a clenched fist to the brow as though grasping a hat-brim between fingers and thumb.
