ofcourse india will object to pakistan getting technology.

we need it for our war against fundamentalists which india apparently support and are desperate to get rid of aswell.

but then they object to something that will help us do this because it strengthens our nation.

therefore the cost/benefit analysis coming from india is clear, they would rather have us against the taliban from a weaker position rather than stonger.

the bottom line is that if they were as against the taliban insurgents they would in fact support this - BUT THEY DO NOT SUPPORT IT.

if they tell us that they want a prosperous pakistan then THEY SHOULD SUPPORT THIS.

There is absolutely nothing wrong in raising concern but the way Indians do it that is inappropriate to me.India is in negotiations with israel for similar drones wouldn't this created instability, wouldn't India used them against Pakistan.They did use one in 2002 but it was brought down by PAF. I mean "One should look at ones self before raising fingers at the others".India does what ever possible for depriving Pakistan from any arms tell me a single deal where India would not have interfered with or has not raised voice.

KAMRA: Pak Air Force has formally started the production of pilotless drone planes in collaboration with an Italian company, Geo News reported Thursday.

According to details issued by the PAF, the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex Kamra has commenced producing the pilotless planes Falco UAV in collaboration with Selex Galileo of Italy.

Aeronautical Complex chief Air Marshal Farhat Hussain said pilotless Falco UAV highly important for the country’s defence, adding the production of the planes will greatly add to the professional capabilities of PAF.

Farhat said Pakistan is now a member of the club of countries manufacturing drone planes.

The system will be used mainly for aerial reconnaissance and information gathering, although the PAF will later also induct UAVs equipped with weapon systems to carry out offensive operations.

But, invariably the drones would be used along the Indian border both for spying and combat missions. As That is what has always happened .
