India Top Recipient of US Aid Since 1947

Of course India received US aid since it was a country recovering from colonial era hardships.
Even Pakistan received and is still begging for US aid. Why didn't Pak develop like India did ?
India had a fair share of genuine leaders who devoted bulk of their lives for betterment of the nation.
It is unfortunate that Pakistan didn't get a genuine leader to lead them from the front to the path of
development and maturity.
From 1947 till today Pakistan was/is ruled by either military rogues or their political puppets whose only focus is anti-India agenda. I do not know still how many Pakistanis are eating grass for their country to own nukes.

So much aid, yet people poo in open field?
Where else do you suggest ? In your mouth ?

India has been the #1 recipient of US economic aid since its inception. Pakistan is way down on the list. In spite of all of the recent news about aid to Pakistan dominating the media, the fact remains that resurgent India has received more foreign aid than any other developing nation since the end of World War II--estimated at almost $100 billion since the beginning of its First Five-Year Plan in 1951. And it continues to receive more foreign aid in spite of impressive economic growth for almost a decade.

Some of my posts in the military and economic aid issue from another thread, for both Pakistan and India.

. .
Did I even point a dime worth a finger to why India was given aid from US for?

Most of the aid to India was in the 1960s when India and Pakistan were on the verge of starvation. The aid tapered off after the Green Revolution
