India Top Recipient of US Aid Since 1947

. . . .
@RiazHaq @shah1398
According to US Agency for International Development, Pakistan has revived more civilian aid each and every year since 1993.Even then per capita aid for India was much lower

Also all military aid to India stopped in 1968 but Pakistan still continues to recive military aid from USA.

Wow! So much military aid and yet Pakistan does not even show up in the top 10 recipients of US military aid! Imagine that!!

But still military aid to Pakistan is many times more than to India.
BTW your own pic says that bUS aid to India had dropped to miniscule amounts.

. .
In spite of all of the recent news about aid to Pakistan dominating the media, the fact remains that resurgent India has received more foreign aid than any other developing nation since the end of World War

The operative part is in bold.

OK So India recieved 50% more aid than Pakistan from the US in total.

Now is India 50% larger by population?

So which country was more aid-dependent truly?

Have a look at the World Bank Data:

Who has constantly been getting more aid in relative terms (factoring population and income)?

This still makes India as the biggest recipient of US aid. Nonetheless we received peanuts to what we lost due to US wars around us and it wasnt the aid but our own very share of money US was suppose to pay us in context of WoT.

Genius, the effect of aid on GDP is usually depicted by considering aid as a percentage of GNI. Absolute numbers prove nothing.

We are talking about amount of aid India received from US. Are U justifying this high amount of aid vis-e-vis Indian GDP?

Go sue them. I'll grab the popcorn.

Nominal per capita is still roughly the same in both countries for the time being (it will take some more time for India to really pull away at current trajectory).

That means per person, Pakistanis have been receiving far more per person than India has from foreign assistance....from US and others (in total).

ODA is often quantified as a percentage of GDP. There is no meaning in saying that aid is larger in absolute terms.

If you don't accept it, you should complain to world bank.
