I disagree who say relations are not good because I have seen in past G20 summits China and India speaking in one voice when it comes to important issues like climate change, fighting piracy or lifting trade duties.

Relations between China and India aren't exactly friendly.

The words of the Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao were very positive when he visited India but I understand he is going to be replaced so ties might change.

Everyone knows UN needs reforming that is no secret, as to which countries will have veto or not that remains to be decided. Right now India is already in the UN security chair although not on a perm basis but there are many other countries like Brazil, South Africa and Japan who also want membership of the security council so maybe the P5 could be enlarged for new members? I think this is could be a viable solution.

Most of the world doesn't like to be classified in the same bracket as China (Peking) for obvious reasons. But they are comfortable dealing with the more liberal China (Taipei). It is not as far fetched as you think. It has happened in Afghanistan earlier. It will probably happen in a few days in Libya. I agree it might not be as straight forward in the case of certain rogue regimes like those in Pyongyang or Peking but ideally, if the civilized world had the chance they would hand over total recognition to Seoul and Taipei respectively.

When you constantly refer to China as Peking we know you either don't live in the same century or more likely the same world.

The world deals with the stronger China whether they like it or not. China is 25 times the economy of Taiwan and more than that in landmass.

Don't worry - the Chinese will not come in way of UN Resolution - they are too scared of the USA to go against American wishes.
