India’s One Basket Diplomacy

. . . . . .
Then why didnt he make East Pakistan a vassal state to India? or united with India??

Because he knew he would be killed by the Mukti Bahini and the people of Bangladesh. Him and Moni made an attempt four years later and they were both killed then.

I don't know as to what extent Mujib wanted post independence Bangladesh to be a part of India. But the way he ran things back then was total anarchy at best. Freedom of speech was non-existent back then.

Sk. Mujib did not want Bangladesh to be part of India but he was being pushed by his Indian advisers to be a puppet of New Delhi. Everything he did required the consent of Indira Gandhi. He was surrounded by Indian sympathizers and he was greedy for power and got trapped by the Indians.

@ They will go to West Bengal !!!! Already most of the Biharees flade away to West Bengal. And it was reported that in almost 13 districts of West Bengal they had settled and it is they now decides the fate of West Bengal election result. Some Political parties considered them as a vote bank. Now, due to the political situation in Bangladesh they(Razakar, Al-Badre and Al-Sams) are now thinking to migrate to West Bengal. It is also reported that some of the fugitives of BDR had alreadt joined hands with ULFA and till now they had trained many raw ULFA members. "Ab tera kia hoga re kalia".

Bangladesh was just born at that time. So,lawlessness upto some level will be there. But then,a well defined judicial architecture was already present.I dont understand why the Bangladeshis took so long time to organize things at their end.

Everything Sk. Mujib did in the last two decades of his life was dictated and planned by India and in the final 3 years he was advised directly by RAW and several Indian advisers. Bangladesh by 1975 had become a virtual Bhutan with the people intimidated by the Indian trained Rakkhi Bahini.
