The Indians on the forum are desperately trying to score points its been few days and their phobia over 5m peanuts refuses to go away.



As i said it before if i want to help the needy i would give a damn if they know my name or not.

It is indeed a very good idea. I dont know about the political upmanship, but is there a way that people with connections (both in India and Pakistan) can do this? If so, it would be very helpful for the needy.

what score india will get if pak accept the aid.if same thing would have happened to india and if india desperately needed that aid given by pak,india definately would have used that aid without any consideration that pak is given it.india imported many things frm pak when they were at very high prices.

As I said they are our countrymen and I know many of them won't be pleased with this aid from India. So we don't need their 50 million dollors. India could use these 50 million for something better in their own country. Wonder how many times we have to define this to every moron but take this offer with you. We simply don't need it. At least people of Pakistan aren't pleased with this aid from a country like India.

Otoh, the reason why GoI (the babus might have debated this particular option) is reluctant to hand out money to charities is because of the presence of some charities with links to banned organizations. One has to understand the apprehensions of GoI over this and maybe this might be the reason why GoI has approached GoP directly.
