India not interested in road connection with China

thank god for that
ooops instead of thanking God you should Thank Indian Army for that.....

On Topic-No need to invest money for that road....Instead we should work on increasing cost of chineese good By increasing Import duty and other taxes...

Some are American cyber ID, ignore them. They are many even in physical in Indian media.

I wish a great recon and partnership between Pakistan, India and China, the thrashold of the real prosperity of our subcontinent. And the road map of a real Asian century.

but deluded indian nationalism wont like that connectivity

then your majority poors will suffer the most```despite the protectionism from India, China's exports to India is ever increasing```

Indian thinking gives validity to the Bangladesh point. Bangladesh should not introduce any road or rail connectivity with india because it introduces defense, security and economic risk to Bangladesh.

In other news, India is asking Bangladesh to pay for a transit worth $7.5 billion to connect to north east India.

Did we miss something?

The total inter-regional trade in south Asia is even smaller than GCC.

I already said before that India will never allow any mass transit with China. Never ever. Even though they do have a anti-dumping policy in place.

India is not locked by China from three sides.

Your road connectivity to Burma is just a dream and if you want to connect with ASEAN, China you need India otherwise stuck to same place atleast we have other option but you dont.

It was India that asked Bangladesh for this "transit". Not the other way around. And from the current state of things, that too is a dream.

Yeah, we've noted Burmese hostility toward Bangladesh :toast_sign:

An opportunity for developing the shameful Scatlanders roads and infrastructure missed again for a virtual Chinese military threat that exists only in the mind of the US and Indian media sensationalists.

We are talking about India...not Pakistan:rofl:

India found profit so demand it, the day we finish our road, rail connectivity to ASEAN country you have no option.

china will produce and dump goods all over the world..to keep billion ppl employed....by hook or by crook:cheesy:

Knowing that by hook or by crook...and you Indians still take the bite  no wonder we alway have trade surplus with India, we just love to do business with this country

Nice deceptive way to to slip and slide indian duplicity. Topic is connectivity and india is refusing that connectivity to China using security and asymmetric trade concern. Bangladesh should apply same indian argument to avoid any transit to india.

Isn't BD has boundary with Burma? We chinese can make an arrangement with Burma to have BD connect ASEAN through Burma, why would BD need to ask India?

First of all how authentic is this source catholic online?

Second, Can opening a roadway with China threaten NE stability, considering the fact NE insurgents use Chinese small arms, obtained from Myanmar through Thailand. Could it make small arms smuggling easier?

Opening this road does have trade benefits. But then given Chinese arms control is seeming ineffective, considering that some Chinese weapons have come in the hands of insurgents in Pakistan too.

I don't think it's china interest to have a road link with India, we can finish all the rail connection from Tibet to Nepal, Pakistan, and eventually Bhutan, using lasha as Hub. China has already road and rail direct connectivy with most continental ASEAN countries, Kunming will a trade Hub to these nations on south and use kashgar as trade hub for central asia nations, and with Tibet rail to link these trade hubs togheter, we can create a trimendious trade world just for China along, why we need to share with India? let them find their own way.

And once we extend the silk road connecting Pakistan to Arabs world in Middle East...then we're laughing.

There is no need of road between India and China if the intelligence agencies feel that it could be misused. The trade b/w India and China is anyhow growing at quite a good speed even without this road. So it is not that much required.

Also that road will only be connecting India and China. For connecting other parts of world we will also build our own required network.
