What's new

India must stop purchasing arms from Israel-AAP

 No they won't. The very first thing they have to do is change their names. They are issued ID cards based on new hindu names. Plus the village people make sure they have actually converted.

LOL -- does not matter, once all the money is spent we will send few Mullahs to convert them back. We also make sure that they get married to some Hindu girls who they can bring back as bonus

there is nothing wrong in being nationalistic , but fighting someone else war is who don't even know who you are is quiet stupid .

so what was indian army doing in the korea war helping western militaries kill north koreans, or when it was about to be sent to iraq in 2003 to help usa and britain kill iraqis??

whose war was it fighting??

tell this joke to someone else that you are supporting palestinians not because they are muslims

george habash, founder of pflp ( popular front for liberation of palestine ), was christian... so is laila khaled, one of the heroines of the palestinian struggle.

May be he or me support Palestinians because they are muslims but what do you have to say about those millions of non-muslims out there who support Palestinian cause...

like rachel corrie, who was crushed by a idf bulldozer in 2003...

rachelcorrie-poster.gif

not to mention revolutionaries like carlos ( one of my heroes ), or socialist nations like east germany and vietnam who were not muslim yet greatly supported the palestine cause over the decades.

The fundamentalist have started working inside AAP. I hope the AAP clowns understand if even if we support Palestine, the Islamic world wont support India in anything.
We have been supporting them for the last 50 odd yrs, its just recently we tilted towards Israel.

The best decision we ever took. What good has the arab world given except Iraq which had strategic ties to us? Oil? We PAY them for it and don't get it free. They never support us geopolitically.

Best decision we took to abstain from UNSC and support Israel instead.

yes, and the indian establishment decided to backstab the same iraq in 2003 by confirming deployment of at least 5000 indian army soldiers on the express orders of usa government.

funny thing, when the british people were protesting against their government's involvement in that war... 12 years later, sanghis are still being the fan boys of nato.

Ohh come on,accept the fact that PAAPtards are nothing but a group of cheap traitors to this country;).Well what can we expect from them after all.PAAP is full of these commies,Islamic tangos and fundamentalists who are by birth anti-nationals and who will most probably sell their own mother for the right price without giving the slightest damn:rofl:.Heck that PAAP MLA Hasibullah Khan is a filthy Islamic fundamentalist himself:lol:!!
I wonder what should one do to prove his nationlism? agree to killings or support the killers. Human Rights comes above nationalism. and if I see this article. This was published when Isreal was on an offencive with disproportionate strike against civilian targets. And I see this article resufracing after this long on the eve or AAP winning the Delhi elections. The one things that rationale minds like me can understand is that BJP earns and loot this country by keeping the youth of this country stupid by kindling the fire of Patriotism and Nationalism with out them understanding what really the two words mean

Did you forget the eelam war that India supported to kill Tamils in record numbers just to avenge Rajiv Gandhi for the satisfaction of Sonia Gandhi?

First of all, Mr. wannabe Libyan-or-confused-Indian, India has always diplomatically been against the Iraq war. The troop deployment was not in Iraq. Can you confirm Indian Army in Iraq? Any links? Sources? Videos? Photos?

Secondly, you need to come out of Tripoli and smell the coffee on international politics in India. The aggression in Ukraine was a NATO move; NATO countries jointly mobilized to sanction Russia. We and China stood together and refused. One of the major highlights of last years international scenario developing.

Sanghis?

The biggest @$$-cleaners of NATO countries were the secularist, wannabe-western UPA regime that had held all Indian defence developments for foreign orders and once even considered buying a portion of Spain's debt!

just wanna ask...........when u go to do pooja aarti of ur lord Feku...................do u get parshaad???:p:

If you are hell bent on trolling, then I must say, you have picked the wrong guy for the task... I am not one of those blind supporters of BJP, unlike you people who are blind opposers of them, in the name of secularism and vote bank politics.

Havent u started crying for missionaries yet??? I am sure u start now. Foreign money is coming.

Just what sir I am telling. We have been supporting Palestine, but we are not being reciprocated in turn. Palestanian Ambassador goes on to tell that they shall support Pakistani position on Kashmir. Then its nearly useless in supporting them.

i understand israel's position... they have the right as any progressive society to exist in this world... there is long a solution to the israel/palestine issue, in form of the "isratin" solution of muammar gaddafi, which looks with kindness the problem faced by israel... all must look at the solution... and i have no problems in removing reactionary groups like hamas and ij... they are an embarrassment, and the only ones who will cry are their masters - western governments and the irani mullahs.

the iraq deployment did not come about because of vigorous protests by the communist parties of india... if you were old enough in 2003 you would have seen this... still, you can confirm with any newspaper archive.

besides, it was bjp and allies in national government then.

i can quote uno security council documents for indian government positions in 2011 on syria and libya... they are totally pro-nato, with some vague typical indian establishment dilly-dallying.

and there is more to this including military deployment... in 2011.

and yes, it was upa in power then... they are equally guilty.

The Aam Aadmi Party demands that both Houses of Parliament should immediately pass unanimous resolutions condemning the completely unjustified Israeli attacks on Gaza and should not allow the Narendra Modi government to reverse the decades-old stand of the country on this important issue. The AAP also demands that the Indian government must seek action against Israel's repeated and widespread violations of human rights. It must stop purchasing arms from Israel, since these revenues appear to be used to oppress the people of Palestine.

Though the Rajya Sabha is scheduled to discuss this important matter on Monday, the NDA government has been shockingly resisting a similar demand in the Lok Sabha.

The AAP would like to remind the BJP government that irrespective of the party in power at the Centre, India has consistently followed Mahatma Gandhi’s famous line since 1938 that if the French can have France and the English can have England, then Palestine must belong to the Palestinians.

The Modi government’s ambigious stand and refusal to condemn the Israeli aggression at this crucial juncture violates the well settled principles of Indian foreign policy. It also raises serious questions about the dangerous direction in which the Narendra Modi government appears to be taking the country's foreign policy.

The BJP government’s stand on Gaza has lowered India’s standing in the international community. Earlier the UPA and now the NDA government, both were gradually tilting towards Israel, but the latest action of the Modi government has hit a new low.

The all-out assault by the Israeli military, especially the air force, on Palestinian civilians in Gaza, is a gross violation of international human rights norms and instruments including the Geneva conventions. While the AAP deplores the killing of three Israeli settlers, this can be no excuse for the rampant killing of Palestinian civilians, with the toll rising above 150. We call on the UN, the UN Human Rights Council, and other international bodies, to intervene and stop this bloodbath.

Currrently, the Palestinian people are living under an oppressive military rule. It is clear, as recommended by various international bodies including those affiliated to the UN, that the demand for an independent and unified Palestine is an urgent necessity. The Aam Aadmi Party is of the firm view that India should not resile from its earlier principled position on Palestine. It should support the demand for an independent Palestine.

RealPolitik(Nations don't have friends, only permanent interests and such babble) helps only the strong. Strategists like Kissinger used this line to convince tinpot dictators to the Western Bloc. Basically the way an honest officer is introduced to corruption. It is one of the lines alongside 'everyone else is doing it', 'you have to think about your family', you deserve to be rich' that entices a person/country to be dishonest and escape what they have to do.

Realpolitik did not help India much in history. India's decisions by and large have been based on simple logic. What is the cause of Palestine issue. The simple answer is occupation and this is recognized by international law and an overwhelming majority of countries. This has got nothing to do with Palestine being muslim.

The realpolitik gurus will avoid this simple logic and run around the forest for an explanation in their lens and then arrive at this BS notion that Indian governments support Palestine because they have more muslims in the country. There is no smellier BS than this. And the saffronists, eager to clutch onto every random happening in this country as vote-bank politics grab on this biscuit.

If anything the ideological bonding is between Israel-Pakistan and Palestine-India. Palestine movement was highly progressive until it got hijacked by the Islamists after persistent weeding out of top level educated secular leadership by the Israelis and crazy Arabs with help from US.

Even if you go by the calculus of interests, India will do well by avoiding Israel. More and more the country is getting pushed back on its policies. More countries even western European ones are recognizing Palestine. So India is backing a losing side. So one wonders what sh&t the desi realplitik gurus are smoking, because they are undercutting their own logic with the argument.

Not to say India should sever all ties with Israel. But I am simply saying do what is right. Support Palestine. Maintain good ties with Israel.

If some Palestine leader say something about Kashmir, have the guts to publicly remind them how many muslims are getting killed world over by muslim leaders to maintain 'order'. The Ummah can't do anything to India.
