What's new

India may plan airstrikes in Muridkay

As you are aware the global wave of extremism has reached the Indian shores, it’s not something new. India has a huge population of Muslims , it’s obvious that global terror organisations will try to recruit here and are bound to get some loons to join them.

It’s a realty we have to face because anyone can become a jihadi John due to Internet.
You being a Pakistani know the dangers of online radicalisation more than anyone else.

This suicide attack is a turning point, a message that Kashmir is going the Iraq/Syria way.
We need to stop foreign influence in our country ASAP.

The question is can Hindus and Muslims live peacefully together, me being an Indian will always support this thought process.
You being a Pakistani will always oppose this cause otherwise there was no need for Pakistan.

Now another question arises, can Muslims and Jews live together..?
Can Muslims and Christians live together..? Do we need to create more Pakistan like states wherever such question arises..?
Why would i be against Indian Muslims and Hindus living peacefully together? Is their a difference between some Doctor AK Sharma or Some Doctor Subhan Khan living in Delhi in the same town for me? or have i any gain to wish they should fight each other?
Everyone should live peacefully. Indian Muslims and Hindus living peacefully together had nothing to do with Pakistan existing or not. Its being 70 years. Things have changed, New generations are born. They don't care about Why there country should exist. They are born in it. And they love their home. Let bygones be bygones.
Yes everyone should live peacefully together. I am afraid you are the sort of person who only sees things with glasses of Religion. And totally ignore the Political Angle of things.
Sorry mate i will not engage in a religion vs religion bait. Go find some one else who loves this topic. The Terrorist Groups and Radicle Islam is not my religion and i have nothing to do with them. I am a Muslim and i live peacefully and i respect every one who respect be irrespective of his religion and i love my Religion but i dont hate and desrespect other religions Nothing more nothing less. My country men have been fighting these idiots for almost 2 decades now. they don't care if they target a muslim or non muslim. Infact Paksitan was a peacefull country before post 9/11 2001 US intervention in Afghanistan. No bombing no bloodshed. Every where safe and secure.
It doesn't matter where Daesh/Alqaeda/TTP etc etc came from. Cold war was a horrible episode of modern era we should all(All our Governments) be ashamed of ourselves (Specially the Richer ones USA and GCC) of what we did to common people and their minds to peruse political goals.
But now we should stop point scoring and fight this menace. Thats the issue. And stop mixing Geopolitics with Religion. The ones that do it have a purpose to confuse common people to get support. dont follow them

Once someone asked an Israeli general on his opinion on Indian and Pakistani armies. He said they fight by the book, but the problem is they fight by the same book.

This behaviour on both sides is dangerous. The Indian state has effectively ceded influence to its media on foreign policy, particularly on India-Pakistan relations. Their media is more warmongering than their military, & with their ability to alter public opinion they are increasingly pushing the people and the state to war with Pakistan. As if this is the solution to all their problems. Under present circumstances, this also plays well with the BJP/Modi policies. BJP/Modi and the media have a great tag-team relationship going on.

On the Pakistani side, it doesn't matter who carried out the strike. The fact is there are non-state elements that are impinging on our foreign policy, particularly India-Pakistan relations and Pakistan-US relations quite negatively. As the perception of Afghan Taliba's victory over the US grows in these elements they will be more emboldened to direct Pakistan's policies through their activities.

In short, our bilateral relations are now dictated more by sub-state and non-state actors than by state actors.

War is more costly and less productive than having to talk with each other.
