Most of the bloggers here are talking about moving to the west, but do not recognize, if the west comes to our disposal that they allways have a sinster motive behind it.
We have a good missile development program in place and the scientist are doing good. but if we go for this Global Missile shield, the R&D of our local inistitutions will be affected and the money will send to the NATO.
Not only are we scraping our indegenious programs but we will be paying heavy money as a rental basis for the US.

If you agree on deploying a Missile Shield that NATO offers then,

India is not deploying any missile shield by NATO there are talks of some technology sharing and cooperation.

that Hypersonic program will be scraped and Russia will develop it on its own or probably invite Pakistan to join its team.

And they may ask Pakistan to join PAK FA, develop MTA, go for moon mission, take the aircraft carrier gorshkov, nuclear submarine, 300 MKI, 1600 T-90 and many more. lol You are talking like this is some relation between young boys.

No one read the actual news but talking on report based on a conspiracy article.

Some here are more bothered about relation with Russia than India's security. It is like India and Russia are two 10 years old boys. One got angry and saying, "I will not talk with you in my life".

I just don't understand how can anyone praise NATO and even think and feel like India joing NATO specially after seeing the crimes it has done .
Why should we go for a western missile when ours are working fine??
And why will Russia support its all weather freind India for such an act as isn't the whole idea behind this NATO is to counter Russia.

Still I personally don't belive in the US, where ever they have deep roots outside the white race countries, they have brought chaos, If INDIAn polititions do not sell the country or fooled by the West, then I am too interested in technology transfer.
On the other hand, if such a defence shield comes up, we are unnecessarily provoking the Chines to take desperate meassures. We have a no Nuclear first use policy. but if we are engagged with the Chinese in a Conventional war, they do have the upper hand. We should not provoke.. thats my point.

First of all placing Missile defence system in India will in no way effect Russia ..as Russia missile flying towards US or Europe can not be targeted or tracked(because of Himalayan range) from Indian subcontinent..however for Chinese missiles targeting European NATO countries..it is a different story.

But it is more likely it merely joint research and development offer ..along lines what Israel has been doing with US.

Supporting the war in Afgan, Iraq and Libiya. If they are angels from the sky where where they when the Ruwandan Genocide happend, where where they when War in Sri Lanka consumed lifes of innocents and dignity of Tamil women who got raped in the process.
NATO is just to benifit the Americans, French, UK and German. the rest of the members are just living in the dillusion that NATO will fight their war in case of a invasion by an enemy state

For the first part I just interpretted that I thought Nato missile system means western missile
And what crimes have Nato did -Nato is nothing but a group of countries lead by the most selfish nation in the world (US) first it helped those afghans by calling them freedomfighters and latter attacked them, they attacked Iraq by saying that they want to get rid of those wmd and now Libiya but I can't blame you as most of the Indian members just like you have become a major fan of US just bcoz of some drone attacks nice relations with NATO will bring more harm than good.

I do not care about anyone whether it is NATO or Russia but no one is angel. Nether Russia nor NATO. What NATO does is in benefit for them, what Russia does for benefit of them. Is rooting out Taliban in Afghanistan is crime? Removing a dictator like Saddam or Gaddafi? NATO were against the war crimes committed by Sri Lanka but surprisingly India were worried why west were raising it.
