India fourth most corrupt country in Asian Pacific

Bashing China does not decrease India's corruption. We all know who has more money in Swiss Banks. I don't want to bring that up since we all have corruption but know the order of magnitude is totally different.

Without bribe nothing moves in india
1) IN chennai one of my friend was coming from a late night show with his girlfriend and this cop stopped him and looted his gold chain
.
2)My bike was stolen sometime ago and i go to the local police station and book a complaint...the inspector told me they will look for the bike and the next day my dad gets a call from the inspector asking for bribe
.
3)The ruling party in tamil nadu is going house to house and handing out Rs500 in my village....I used that 500 bucks to recharge my mobile

4)I saw this with my own eyes....chennai people will know the RTO right opposite to the military base in santhome....i saw this one soldier who was refusing to pay bribe to these RTO babus for his daughter's license was humiliated in front of everyone and made to wait the whole day...to this day i cant forget the look in the eyes of that soldiers daughter

5)When i applied for my passport...i was told police will come to my house for verification and this cop showed up to verify and asked for Rs 300 as bribe.
i know of people who has done serious things and got away scot free by paying bribe
