India far behind China’s combat power

.
Really? If China will give their heart for their friends,If china will suffer anything for their friends, then what are they doing when pakistan met trouble in 1971 and 1999?We cant see China friendship for pakistan at that time ,But USA coming for the help in 1971 by mobilise their seventh fleet against Indian Navy.
Then tell me can China be real friend?.US already proved they value their allies.USA will fight war for their friends and allies.USSR now Russia also prove that by helping India in 1971.
But we dont from china like that expect some usual warnings

Their main focus is USA.One can easily assume from their actions, which country China is taken as their bench mark

In this forum, it seems like India is taking China as a bench mark.

The only thing that will make a difference against China is the one you didn't name and it's the Rafael. The rest are useless if you don't command the sky, as the Americans have demonstrated time and again.

But we will almost certainly have more J-10b than you will Rafaels, it may not be as good I don't think, but the difference isn't huge and in terms of dog fights, it's not a land slide, it's a better 4+ vs a slightly less 4+.

FOrget about J 10 A, b......,X,y,Z. None of them is any match to Mig 29 or Mirage 2000 . Forget about Rafale and MKI or Super MKI.

What is subject of this thread? And It is about Indian and China. We dont take China as bench mark.
But I am sure China take US as their benchmark.

most of the people here are discussing about title & picture posted along with the thread not about the real topic.

1. "India hopes to bridge the gap in the next 15 years by improving its fighting capacity with new stealth jets, aircraft carriers, nuclear-powered submarines, warships and land-based strike formations."

2. "The document, accessed by Hindustan Times, predicts the picture will change by the end of the 14th Plan period (2022-27), with India narrowing the gap in combat power with China to a “desirable ratio” of 1.5:1."

3. "Strategic affairs expert air vice Marshal Kapil Kak (retd) said the “desirable combat ratio” appeared to be achievable"

4. "Steps taken by India to counter China’s military build-up have led to a marginal improvement in the relative-force ratio, the document shows"
5. The setting up of two new infantry divisions in 2010 in the northeast has lowered China’s combat advantage to a “2.7:1 ratio”. Odds, however, are still stacked against the army.

In a land battle, an army can only defend against an attacking force three times its strength,” a former chief said.

The raising of a new mountain strike corps — with 85,000 soldiers — to defend Arunachal Pradesh is expected to further reduce the Chinese military advantage to a ratio of 2.1:1 by end of the 13th Plan Period (2022).

The new strike formation will give the army the capability to mount offensive action into the Tibet Autonomous Region.
