“This is a shameful day for India’s so called democracy ”

“The government is hopeless ”

"India's corruption is destroying nation, warns business elite"

"Proposals for a corruption ombudsman have been introduced to parliament nine times since 1968 without being passed, so shameful! "

In an embarrassing blow to the Indian government, a group of senior businessmen and members of civil society have published an open letter claiming that rampant corruption is destroying the "fabric of the nation".

India’s parliament has failed to pass new anti-corruption laws, putting the ruling Congress party on course for fresh confrontation with civil society activists outraged by rising levels of graft.

India has been a democracy for [fill in the blank] years. So which corrupt government has been voted out?

Corruption is a cultural based thing. India has a corruption culture, and no form of government can change that.

Democracy is what will occur after this event, people will protest, vote out the government, get new people in to pass it.

All this must sound strange to you, therefore your poor understanding of Democracy.

With Prosperity comes Responsibility. As india grows and as pressure to root out corruption increases, things will fall automatically into place.

China has been a traditionally corrupt country till late 20th century. with rising middle class and educated ppl, corruption has decreased. so will be da case in india.

rest all ur arguments are bullshit and only for da sake of speaking.

democracy is worst form of government but there is no alternative for it. patience is the key. hope is the ray in deep darkness. we indian are hopeful of changes. its gradual and slow process . jai hind

infact what u showed is called DEMOCRACY. here ppl can protest against the govt and they are not shot to kill.

what u see in the pic is only a way to keep outraged crowd under control and disciplined.

otherwise we have see countries round the world and what all they do to curb protests.

so better understand meaning od democracy b4 accusing largest democracy in da world.

now u can go and kill those ppl of the world for calling india, world's largest democracy.
