What's new

India deploys Heavy infantry and moves heavy artillery near LOC

But IN is also part of cold start, may be in phase 2 for now (if attack occurs), but Pakistan is also ready to face Indian aggression, if it happens it will be bloody for both sides. Hope cool heads prevails on both sides leaderships.

Nothing is happening ... nuclear war will start after page 3 though

F-16s are flying over Islamabad continually. Can't tell if it's because of LoC or the exercise.

The part you refer is part of the sovereign land of India. There are issues there. However its between them and the Indian Govt. No need for anyone to butt into. Please do not bring plebiscite, want of freedom etc into that.

However, the current scenario is done by GHQ. Sure, go ahead and say it is not. We will all listen. Just wait 5 or 10 years. Pak army itself will say that. To stay relevant. Happened with Kargil. Will happen again.

You shouldn't bring Kargil into this and even when the Kargil war happened Pakistan had most of the area under controll but our prime minister of that time Nawaz Shareef called off the COAS of that time to stop the war immediately and that mistake of the PM cost Us a lot already if he wouldn't have stopped the army Pakistan could also have a advantage of Kargil to tackle the indian forces.

@The Sandman @salarsikander Seriously, are you guys coming to invade us? :o:

@Viper0011. That is interesting .... I am still unaware we have moved ... wonder is it apparition we move by?

One really needs to check where our strike corps are!!!v
@nair this will get your Bacardi off!!!

You have been moving for the past 2.5 days. I am actually impressed they cut down the assembly time from 27 days (from that last exercise Vijaya something), down to 2.5 days!! Impressive indeed. Establishing an entire IBG and getting ready to initiate war in 2.5 days is pretty darn quick.

Now of-course, I'd expect Indian Planners to know that their ability to quickly assemble doesn't mean anything and the second they get to the LOC or any other border, the outcomes will never be truly understood by anyone. So I hope they use cooler heads from this point on. But good and rapid assembly though . They may shell the other side (and same from the other side) for a few days and claim, they hit their targets and go back. That would be a much needed end (or not starting anything at all would be best obviously). But anything beyond that would be seriously dangerous.

I have a bad feeling that this situation is different. Army wont let anyone get away with murdering 17 of their own. Modi's options might be limited here. I see a big big escalation coming in Balochistan and LOC . India should brace for the fallout coz Pakistan is not going to sit quiet either.

The biggest risk is the impact on Indian economy in the short term. Stock market will tank and FDI will be frozen but this will be short term coz of India's overwhelming superiority in conventional warfare. Its just so so unfortunate.

Any one of you worthless sub-human savages enter Pakistan, it will go nuclear. Let's get it on! Come on!

Of course I can bring Kargil. Isn't this forum about?. It was a skirmish. This is a skirmish. No war nothing.

You can claim anything. Its your freedom to do so. But lets see how it ended. War colleges does this exactly. Go through previous war histories.

Bring it on! Come on then!...........the world's most ugliest, physically repulsive and deformed race is going to get fried........let the fun times begin. They maybe 7X bigger than us but I want to crush as many of these sub-human savages as possible. I want them all dead

Not a nice post. Even when you talk to your enemies, be a bigger enemy. Give them the courtesy and not insult their nation, and personal stuff. That's beyond humans. Always deal with conflicts with grace and dignity that the other side remembers that you treated them fairly, even in the middle of animosity.

You must visit the cold start doctrine thread, and read what I have written there. Again ... strike corps are sitting in their own locations, nothing is moving. It is going to be snow time in another few weeks in Kashmir in higher reaches, what will IA do? Squat.

Meanwhile, Pakistan is burning funds ... lol

whatever happens you'll fully deserve it, that much is clear. Guess anyway it was time for you face the music. Forget Kashmir etc., you can't handle your own country.
Go ahead try it..... I Dare you.... The last time there was a standoff between us you lost close to 2,000 soldiers without us moving a single foot
.... Won't be any different this time either.
