There was a time when India was poor and had no friend barring the Soviets. Whereas Pakistan had whole of the west ,china and of course Muslim world and not to forget the global media specially British media to do their bidding. Pakistan could not take over Kashmir from India .
Present state of Kashmir-Militancy is dying in Kashmir, Most of militants active in Kashmir are foreigners and kashmiri youth who went to Pak to train as terrorist are coming back to Kashmir with their families via Nepal. Hardly one or two people die in Kashmir that too in month or so. Kashmir is now peaceful barring few incidents of stone pelting etc.

Compare it to what is happening in Pakistan. A completely Broken Economy, Commercial capital of Pakistan under virtual civil war , Pakistan's largest province has rebelled against Pakistan. FATA is out of bound of Pak Army. Minorities are fleeing Pakistan. Shia and Ahmedis are daily butchered on streets of Pakistan.

The Motto of the story is that when Pakistan was strong it could do not wrestle Kashmir out of India's control and now when Pakistan is being increasingly labelled as failed state second only to North Korea. So Pakistan should quit dreaming of annexing in Kashmir when the world is doubt whether Pakistan would live to see the next decade.

He was talking about strategic depth as in "it is our backyard".

Good effort.

However, India has started rising from some poverty and its Hindu Growth Rate just about a decade ago, and most Indians are jumping up and down like upstarts. Probably today in the morning, some one was asking me about my monthly salary - I just wanted to buy a dosa.

Pakistan never intended to wrestle Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK) from India. It was just shaping the environment.

The freedom movement in IOK is not dying down, in strategic jargon, lets call it, remains simmering. Aur aag kabhi bhi bharrak sakti hai.

You guys have been saying since a decade that Pakistan is a failed state. Some Indian gentlemen here call India a failed state as well.

Make no mistake about it, Pakistan would remain forever.

P O K is sick and tired of Pakistan and its terror central hub, it will be peaceful and prosperous with India. Pakistan is nothing but a failed state of biblical proportions, that offer no jobs, no security, and no future for its people. Talibanisation and dictatorship is next on the card.

And despite problems attributed to our corrupt spinesless leadership Kashmiris still support Pakistan as an idea and as a country they identify more with. Whether its cricket or whether its August 14.
