India further eases visa process for BD travelers

India has further eased the visa process for Bangladeshi travellers, reports UNB.

India extended the scheme for walk-in tourist visas with confirmed journey tickets to eight Indian Visa Application Centers (IVACs) in Bangladesh with effect from February 01.

All Bangladesh travellers who have confirmed journey tickets can avail of this facility of walk-in tourist visa without appointment dates at IVACs in Rajshahi, Rangpur, Sylhet, Chittagong, Khulna, Jessore, Mymensingh and Barisal.

This initiative is part of the ongoing efforts to streamline, liberalise and ease the process of securing Indian visas, said Indian High Commission in Dhaka Sunday.

We don't like India due to bad attitude from the Indian side. What are you seeing is the mere reflection of that attitude.I will pin point some reason why Bangladeshi people dislike India.

1.There is a strong hateful anti-Bangladesh propaganda thriving in India specially among the hindu political parties.Even PM Narendra Modi had to indulge in it to get elected.

2.In some Indian state like Assam, entire state is revolve around hating Bangladeshi people.

3.Big brother/bully mentality of Indian govt.Remember the submarine purchase by Bangladesh and Indian reaction,As if we have to take permission from Delhi.Nobody in BD will tolerate such interference.

4.Depriving BD from the natural share of water.Remember the Farakka dam,Tipaimukh dam,Teesta water looting. This is one of major source of contention.

5.Killing unarmed civilian in the border regularly.Another big issue.

6.Creating imbalance in trade through unilateral tariff.

7.Hijacking our liberation war as the indo-pak war.

8.Smuggling heroin, phensidyl, ganja inside BD with the tactic support of the Indian establishment.

9.Cultural aggression through low quality tv channel.

10.Cheating in cricket match. Many young people became anti-India after Indian caught red handed.

I am not questioning your right or reason to hate us... but sometimes it goes a bit over the top... :)

I would agree with your position. It serves no one to be in a perpetual state of conflict.

India has a long way to go to formally normalise relationship vis a vis BD.

i have hope that the subcontinent as a whole will be like Europe one day..... the key is education.... as that gradually increases it will broaden peoples horizon beyond narrow nationalism.
