What's new

India backs off, withdraws Visa to Uyghur terrorists!!

Not the equipment, the active ingridients.

Can you name 3 manufactures of Penicillin-G in India ? Not distributors, people who actually manufacture it and sell it. Not people who resale it after buying it from China.

Name the company and where its manufactured.

China leads in the non-regulated market (low margins, Low regulations and low quality), however China cannot and does not compete with India in the regulated markets like the US.

Out of the products you mentioned, Unique Pharma (part of JB Chemicals) makes, Ciprofloxicin, Metformin and Ranitidine APIs. (PM me seperately if you want more information or want to talk about other products)
90% is an exaggeration. Indian pharma companies are quite advanced and maintain high quality standards (cGMP) and FDA approved plants. They heavily cater to the US market and the heavy regulation that comes with leads to higher costs.
Indian companies also tend to focus on formulation (US market) than API trade. Nevertheless, even within formulation, Indian companies are starting to vertically and backward integrate for formulations. So they produce for captive requirement and not so much API trade. So the issue of china closing the "tap" and its intended consequences is highly exaggerated.

India is an unregulated market, and hence it is cheaper to buy from china...nevertheless, this does not mean that if china stops supply that somehow India will suffer. Indian manufacturers will fill the void in the market which is currently not profitable for them given the low margins. They prefer the US market and focus on it (most of them).

For once I am glad to be proven wrong.

@Star Wars there you go!!!
this could be the reason India withdrew the visa

So as I said earlier...
Uyghur guys might not be as innocent. Lolz

Now my guess is
1) India knew about the red corner notice yet decided to add some fuel to fire and gave the man a visa- a tit for tat strategy vis-a-vis Masood Azhar veto issue.
2) India genuinely made a blunder, which would be embarrassing because in that case we would not have got anything out of this fiasco. :tsk:

.
its ok better relations with china is interest of both rather then dirty games .

.
Huh?
wanna fight with me?? 8-)

@Armstrong She wants to fight Veradun

Its more of a warning of what we can do. Diplomats in New Delhi are far smarter than the once on the internet.

So no concession........ If there was anything GoI got from this bargain, then it would have been all over the media by now, especially on those TrP hungry media houses....... I guess it was move gone wrong in every sense......

yes, TRP hungry media houses are the epitome of honesty and factual reporting.

The proof is that there is "no news". This must indeed prove "its all Modi's fault".

You mean me? :coffee:
If this is proven to be a technical glitch, then you know who's smarter. :P

Lol @ Chinese pressure. Why don't China pressurize India to dismantle the Tibetan govt in exile with their capital at Dharamshala.

India is the only country which has exiled Tibetan Special Forces called "SFF" raised with US assistance to carry out sabotage ops inside China, in case of War.

So surly,we can give refuge to few Uyghurs and their leaders who already lived a King's life in Germany.

Maybe the move is enough for China to remove its blockade against terrorist Masoud Azhar.

Otherwise the options for cooperating with Turkey and US over Uyghur issue is always open.

I don't mean specifically anyone...but the fact people even consider themselves to know more is itself appalling. If you think Indian govt. was not aware of the red corner notice, then i'd rather not even try to give my opnion .....

India just blocked 2 more visa applications for Chinese seperatists. Hmm India is so easy. One hard slap and they follow you like a dog.

Strange. Do Pakistanis consider the Muslim Uighurs freedom fighters as terrorists? Muslims of Xinjiang province have been fighting for freedom for over 200 years. Millions have been killed. I have read on this forum that even Ahmad Shah Abdali wanted to help them militarily but for some reason he couldn't. Today they are not even allowed to fast during the month of Ramzan.

I have only seen @Samandri on this forum condemn the chinese for these huge human rights abuses.
