You do know that the concept of nation - state is a new one? That practically all countries in the world are NEW in the sense that they were ruled by different kings before that?

Why does this basic fact misrepresented by so many? I don't say my ancestors were from the Maratha empire and then the british empire and now I'm indian. The rest of the world looked at us as Indians (or hindis or yindoos etc etc).
