Mantoo was a good writer when he was in India no doubt but he made a mistake of his life he migrated to Pakistan despite his friends request no to move and write for Indian films but he refuses and joined Pakistan....from here he not only lost his work but also landed in hot water because of his explicit work and hate for Pakistan....if you read his short story Khol do, shaheed saaz and Toba tek singh you will clearly find him a bigot who present Pakistani Muslims oppressors and morally corrupt.

He was shameless bigot whose mama was having fun all with everyone and then he popped out.

Mainly, they are bit like erotic novels but almost every Afsana tend to have something hidden in there that is a bit difficult to grasp at first go! That is what i feel about his writings!

Well, I have not read any of his shit as my friend told me about Manto's work and told what pathetic loser he was. A general rule, if someone is writing about his sexual fantasies, is normally a much bigger pervert in his/her real life.

And I don't need to look for "pearls of wisdom" from a perverted moron vile creature especially since there is no dearth of great novelists and writers in Urdu: Afshaq Ahmed, Bano Qudsiya, Patras Bukhari, Mustansar Hussain Tarrar etc.
Even Alcohol has benefits but it is haram and so we should seek those benefits from other sources.

Well some people learn from other's mistakes and some insist on doing theirs own.
Great bro that you have read all that work, honestly I couldn't read all but only few. However I studied a lot of English literature and also I have to focus on my professional education and career.
Currently, I'm reading Shahab Nama at snail's pace and some Swedish literature..other than that some technical stuff.
