In tears, in loneliness: PM Hasina & Rehana while publishing father's book

By the way I did not attack ashraf class but the caste system that Al-Zakir is trying to promote. Here by saying Ashraf he was referring he is direct descendent of Prophet Muhammad and others are lower quality muslim. This caste based discrimination is absolutely haram in Islam. Just to bring him to reality I had to post all these.

Do you think he will agree with what you said about Ashraf class in the last post!!!

He did not say that, you are twisting his words to make deceptive false case for your rant and attack, as awami and ghoti thugs does.

A low life scum who tries to pretend to be an Arab is saying I am an migrant. What is your or any of your ancestor`s contribution to East Bengal or East Pakistan or Bangladesh!!! Some traitors those who supported killing of innocent Bangladeshis, still prefer to be a Pakistani more then Bangladeshi, speak against Bangladeshi culture and heritage showing the audacity to speak all these manner.

A self proclaim ghoti, captain of Awami fanboy club threatening others in the forum because his indian and awami branded lotta is exposed? What an idiotic odyssey of CaPtAiN_pLaNeT; go save your lotta. Looks like ghotis can not live without a false storyline to label anyone who exposes them or oppose them.

You want to tell me where did I ever claim to be descendant of Prophet(s.a.w). You have to proof your claim otherwise you will be known as lair.

My stand always has been same but punk like you changes color now and then.

.
Chill, gentlemen! I guess we can all agree that we need to unite and get rid of the two useless hags, no? Afterwards the right, left and center wing can resume this battle of pointlessness. :D

.
Its a derogatory slang word for describing people who have origin in West Bengal. I do not encourage or approve of discrimination based on place of origin. It is hurtful and divisive.
so its similar to the concept of mohajir used in pakistan, right???

.
There is a certain difference in what you said and what he claim. According to Al-Zakir he is pure muslim from middle east as he is not dhoti loving hindu convert that he accused others numerous time.

N regarding whether he likes or not Bengali culture it is nobody`s concern. But he does use abusive language to the bengali people even for wearing saree or tip, celebrating pohela boisakh and using the current national anthem and following any poem or song written by any hindu poet and in somes muslim also. Is it justifiable to you!!!!

In search of Bengali Muslim Identity in East Bengal

I became interested in this topic that is "In search of Bengali Muslim identity", when I was in Bosnia back in 1994 while I was serving in a NGO. At that time I was trying to understand how such a large people of Bosnia became a muslim(at the heart of Europe). I was reading a book named "Islamization of Bosnia" by one British writer. Then it strike my mind, "How we became muslim in Bengal". Since than for the last 16 years I am studying and re-searching on this topic. Since than I visited all the places of muslim Saints
like Sylhet, Bagerhat, Chittagong, Rajshahi, Bagha(Rajshahi) and Mastangarg(Bogra) and collected lot of choti books written by local people.

@ So after reading these books besides other historical books I have come to the conclusion that we the Bengalies are not a homogeneous nation rather hetogeneous nation. After serving so many years in various disputed areas of the world specially Europe and Africa, where I have seen many ethnic cleansing I now say that Blood matters a lot on human behaviour and as a whole on a nation. Only for this reason we as a nation cannot be united. Now, from my side lets analysis the history of our country. As a Bengali nation we were never united.

* When Khiljee invaded Bengal the Hindu king at Nadia just flade away without fighting, so we came under Islamic rather Turkish dominion.

* When British came at the battle of Pallassy(1757), Seraj Dullah, Mir Modan and Mohal Lal fought and the bulk of the Seraj's fighting force betrayed with him.

* The struggle of Titu Mir against British and local zaminders remained localised at greater district of Barishal, other districts remained a silent spectators.

* The revolt of Fakir Maznu Shah against the East India Company was concentrated at greater district of Rangpur,Dinajpur and Bogra.

* Initially once the East India came to Bengal the Hindus collaborated and Muslims opposed. Once the Hindus revolted against the British we(Muslims) collaberated with British. Like Surjo Sen, Pretilota and Khudiram once these people started struggle against the British muslims wholeheardedly collaborated with British. During the Second World War once Shubash Chandra Bosh flade away and formed "Azad Hind Fouz", A K Fuzlul Huq was chosen as the war Chief Minister of Bengal. During that time most of muslims supported the British and joined in the British forces.

* Even in 1971, we always say that 7.5 crores of Bengali people fought with the Pakistani forces but was it really true? So far I know, around 1 crores of Bengalies flade to India but out of this around 90 lacs were Hindus and rest 10 lacs were muslims. Who all these 10 lacs were they? They were the Army, Police, EPR, Students , AL members and their families and the bulk people remained inside East Pakistan and collaboreded with the Pakistan Army. In my villages only 6 men and 1 female went to India. Out of this 7, one was doing AL politics, the female was his wife, one was serving in the EPR(died) and other 3 were college going student and doing leftist politics.

* Finally I may conclude that we the Bengalies are the hetogenous nation, we had been divided, we are divided and we will remain divided in future and that's why there will hardly be any development in our country. All these is because of the blood.

Akmal Bhai, you indeed are a soul searcher and your disseminations on Historic occurrences are just fine revelations for many of us. Having said that I just want to inform that you have heat the central nervous system of 'Given Independence' with the following question like Even in 1971, we always say that 7.5 crores of Bengali people fought with the Pakistani forces but was it really true?. And I just don't know how Kalu Bhai's type brilliant man join chorus on 'Opp. Searchlight' had led us to be decisive? The truth of the matter was that no referendum or vote was taken and after 27th March. 71, all the BDeshi Flags in Dacca were replaced by PAK's flag again. So, how did it translate that people became decisive after "Opp. Searchlight's initiation" on giving BD's birth? The best way to describe it would be uninformed/misinformed masses were speculative, fearful and not up to the mark on the end game of 'Creative Chaos' that was generated by RAWAMY+Commie Satan. But the bulk definitely didn't tilt toward the emergence of BD after 'Opp. Search Light' was initiated. I guess the best book to read to clear our conception would be " Polashi Theke Ekattar" in this regard, thanks.

M_Saint Bhai, appreciate your comments. I could be wrong on my opinion:

- majority of Bengali's in East Pakistan switched their aspiration from autonomy to independence after the commencement of Operation Searchlight

The basis for making that comment is that during disarming of Bengali police, EPR and armed forces personnel, many were killed by Pakistan Army and that led to a general revolt by these armed professionals and Zia made the declaration of independence on behalf of Mujib on March 27, 1971

Akmal Bhai was in West Pakistan during this time, you were too young, but if we have older members like asad71 bhai who were present, would probably remember that since the commencement of Operation Searchlight on the night of 1971, the common folks felt that they were being attacked and were under siege. It is hard to judge what portion of the people felt in what way as we cannot go back and interview them or run a poll, but we can just make some educated guess I suppose. So, that is all my opinion is, an educated guess.

But one thing we know is that from that point on, Mukti Bahini got popular support among the masses, without which the war could not be ended so quickly, even with later invasion of Indian Armed forces in Dec. 1971.

We need to make a list of reference books for 1971 war research. May be Akmal Bhai and M_Saint Bhai can post in the 1971 related sticky thread, so we can work on that book-list?

I found the "Blood and Tears" book online, here is where I posted it:

Kalu Bhai, conveying salaam I just want to inform that stories have gotten mixed up with the truth in your description. And this is the new deceptive line by RAWAMY+Commie to legalize their actions after losing in all other arguments to break PAK up.

Up until today, no one came up with such details on 'Opp. Searchlight' as Z. Alam Khan did in his 'The way it was' by my opinion. Please read it if you can and then please ask old but honest observant on ground if on any bases would they give in to the statement, "majority of Bengali's in East Pakistan switched their aspiration from autonomy to independence after the commencement of Operation Searchlight? I would try to descriptively answer your post later as I don't have enough time now, thanks.

@ No ! Kalu bhai I was here and closely observed the situation. I will write in detail regarding this. In fact I came here back in December 1970.

@ I fully agree with you that Pakistan Army killed lot of defence personals while disarming their fellow mates in Cantonments, Peelkhana and Rajarbag police lines. Killing took place in Chittagong Cantonment at East Bengal Regimental Centre (EBRC), Commilla, Rangpur, Saidpur, Jessore etc.

Did they revolt or was it preemptive killing?

@ It was a pre-emptive killing while dis-arming them.

@ In some cantonments like Jessore the Pakistani officers just said to the Bengali officers and troops to go out of the Cantonment and they fled away. In Rangpur Cantonment 5 x Bengali officers were kept arrested till June/july 1971 and one day they were allowed for shopping at the town with the consent that they might fled away. And actually all fled away and went to Sheligorri.

@ But again once the news started comming that Bengali soldiers are killing the West Pakistani Officers and soldiers including their families while dis-arming them in the Bengal Regiments the Pakistan Army also started killing and took the revence. It was a two way killing but majority of Bengali soldiers were killed. My assumption is that it will not cross 5 to 6 thousand soldiers.

.
A Prime minister should not be crying in front of whole audience and media no matter what. And her father died almost 40 years ago.

By crying she shows weakness as the country's pathetic leadership. I wonder how much of tax dollars were used to published the high quality printed books. Honestly, menopaused women should not be leading any country unless they are on hormone replacement therapy(HRT).
