What's new

In light of recent events, the real reason why US won't leave afghanistan directly from an American.

. .
What kind of delusional minds think American can capture Pakistani nukes whenever they want, you must be living in lala land to think that. This might be the highest of the height of stupidity.

which leaders?
It is a huge part of it no doubt.

Actually, Trump won mostly on an anti neocon/neolib warmonger platform. Hell, he's still having a go at john mccain every time he gets a chance because it's a politically expedient thing for him. His base, call them racist or whatever you want, but they are against American military interventionism/adventurism.

Afghanistan is beyond Trump, this is part of a way bigger picture. He tried, he failed.. probably because he had only so much to offer, and a "last American soldier leaves Afghanistan" scenario was never even on the negotiation table, which was a red line for the Taliban so it was a non starter to begin with. Trump didn't have any depth to play with.

Speaking of depth, a continued US presence also denies Pakistan a chance to regain their lost "strategic depth" in Afghanistan.

China surpassing the US and becoming the global hegemon in a few decades time is what the US establishment worries about most, they're not leaving... Hillary or Romney or anyone else would have done the exact same thing but with a lot less bluster.

@Fawadqasim1 too

Strategic depth is primarily against Indian. I don't believe US can deny that as neither US and their Afghan allies control majority of Afghan land. Also , the supply route goes through Pakistan.

.
If the Americans come into our borders with the intent of snatching our nukes we will do it and much more. No doubt about it.
They won't sir mark my words my mobile is driving me crazy that's why I can't write in detail but they won't. let me give you a hint
We are their and China's only counterbalance to India no matter how angry one is the geostrategy of a superpower is made that way they want us under their thumb but not destroyed.

The Americans are heavily pi$$ed that they rely on a country they are here to control. How fvcked up is that?

Why would we be their counterbalance to India ? Isn't US willing to have a strategic relationship with India ?
Makes no sense.

The Yanks are absolutely pi$$ed at the thought that Pakistan has nukes. The only Muslim country in the world able to defend itself from aggression. Obviously they would use all means at their disposal to get their hands on the nukes.

Let me tell you folks why the INGO's and Western embassies are stationed in Pakistan. Their airlines don't fly to Pakistan and their people never visit Pakistan. Yet their embassies are stationed in Pakistan. They are here to figure out the location of our nukes. I am sure this is common knowledge.

They don't, they've been losing in fact. The supply routes also go through Pakistan.

Now if only the Afghan Taliban and the Pak Military could forge an overt alliance and deny Trump his supply routes and beat the US back militarily.

.
Yes. I would like to hear your views because almost every article that I have read. It looks like America is pro-India.

You can write your view point. I am interested to read it.
