Actually China only recognized the annexation of Sikkim in 2003, and 4 years later you put a bunker near Chinese borders might have agitated China. Not sure about the policy now after Doklam incident, since we always assume India respected border which were demarcated. It seems a lot of Chinese are asking China not to recognize Sikkim anymore.:cool:

In reality, China won the Doklam dispute. According to the article, China has started constructing roads and military garrisons and has 1800 troops stationed there. It doesn't sound withdrawal to me.

Indian media only has a nationalistic agenda, but they have to keep the public happy.

Very true, it was Indian media that claimed China was humiliated

See even when we occupy Doklam we will say it's humiliating since we gave road postponement to India. Contrast this with India who will still brag that they were victorious despite the fact that they retreated. To me it was a 'win-win' solution, we gave road postponement and occupied Doklam in return.:cool:

Mr. Yue is a PLA hawk, he wants war and not diplomatic solution, the only victory to him were dead Indian soldiers. And this report was in August before the details came out? Now we know what actually happened. :rofl:
