What's new

Imran Khan Please Resign Enmasse from All the Assemblies

There are no allies. There are hardcore PTI members who share his vision, and then there are opportunistic leeches.

That is fine. You have to feed the opportunists at the state level for the bigger cause that can only be managed at the PM level.

If IK is booted out, its just him to blame no one else, he has focus more on Afghans than he did on Pakistani's, yes Afghanistan issue has to be resolved but that does not mean you are in front to help Taliban when powers like China and Russia are hesitant and waiting to see the western reactions, IK is a hot headed self obsessed person, who don't listen to nobody and his one attempt to secure his term by giving Bajwa extension has forsake him, he should've read the Personality Bajwa as old/weak and self centered who is looking for his personal interest just like every other Politician in Pakistan. I did not like him been gone but he has to go because he has put Pakistan's national security in Danger by opening borders with Afghans, Pacifist Policies towards Iran when they are openly attacking Pakistan almost every week.

It is confirmed now. Mqm would join PDM

Your tenure as PM Pakistan has ended. Establishment wants you gone. Till now you have played defensively. You literally allowed your enemies to play openly against you. You didn't impose governor rule in Sindh when you could have. You acted weakly

Now you are about to become first ever Prime Minister who would be ousted by vote of no confidence

Don't wait for that

Ask your party to resign enmasse from all assemblies including KPK assembly. Disable the whole system. Don't get yourself humiliated and don't give rule of Pakistan to your enemies on a platter

Just f*cking do something. End this passiveness. Just show some aggression.

I was hoping someone would start this discussion because I have some concerns regarding PTI resigning and going for early election:

  1. If Pakistan goes to the election early, what will happen to the electronic voting system?
  2. What will happen to the voting rights for overseas Pakistanis? What if the interim Govt says that we don't need to give overseas Pakistanis any right to vote?
  3. The Sehat card is a big achievement in Pakistan, and it will take some time for People of Punjab to realize that. I think more time will be required to win their hearts, as they use the Sehat card to avail medical services.
  4. The Election Commission of Pakistan has time and again showed a tendency of being anti-government. How will PTI be sure of a free and fair election?
  5. If PTI decides to go fight PML-N, PPP, PML-Q, MQM-P all alone, will it be able to defeat them at this point? Because, you know, foreign forces will not allow PTI to win more than 30 seats in the next election.
  6. Establishment has realized that PTI is a hurdle to their aspirations of complete control over Pak politics, and their monopoly over state institutions. They want the familiar faces back. Will this attitude of the establishment destroy the PTI's mandate in an early election?

Someone knowledgeable in Pak politics, please reply to all questions so that others can also learn.

You are right and even if he wins no confidence vote he would be name ka PM. He would become powerless in Punjab after giving provincial government to q league Just like he can't do anything in Karachi despite having all national assembly seats of Karachi. 3 provinces ki governments uskay khilaf hon gi
election may start after last budget and in that too pti will need support to pass the bill.

pervaiz ilahi cant do damage in 1.5 years but will give benefit to pti instead and in future

Quite an enlightening take actually. Average Pakistani is just not in the position to make better decisions. The political system accepted in Pakistan would never be allowed else where. Lastly, the big picture just doesn’t have that bright of an outlook we all are expecting for pakistan, unfortunately due to the aforementioned factors.

It is over man

Don't let Imran Khan humiliated for false hopes. Disable the system before enemies of Imran Khan capture it
He will not humiliated, let the crooks traitors joined the other side, every passing minute , every Pakistani knowing some thing new , and the real faces of these corrupt leaders , failed judiciary, coward establishment. It’s confirmed khan game is over but khan is gaining more popularity for the next election (if he survived )

The formula that seems to be agreed is that the opposition will gather the required numbers however on the day of NCV, some of its members will disappear so this will fail but so will the PM lose its simple majority, hence new elections within six months timeframe.
This has been agreed between all stakeholders. What's happening now is mere optics. However, for the government they will be able to pass the budget which is important as this will give them leeway to gather support from the government if they give a friendly budget which they will.

Is this good / bad will this move keep pmln/ppp put of power? Has this whole thing been orchestrated to increase IKs popularity with jalsas etc?

Well, it's a conspiracy to disband PTI government so yes it's bad but on the bright side people now understand better the faces of those who played a vital role in this conspiracy. The next election would be interesting. Hopefully, PTI will be able to gather much more compared to previously unless there is massive rigging and electoral steering is done by the establishment to support the corrupt opposition and keep PTI and IK out.
PM Khan also played a masterstroke yesterday when he decided to put the letter in front of CJP if anyone doubts. Now the ball is in the court of the chief justice whether he agrees or not but putting an offer like this on the table should alone remove any doubts in the minds of anyone who think this letter is fake or Khan is just trying to gather a sympathy vote.
