What's new

Imran Khan glad 'inexperienced' PTI didn't form govt in 2013

He is still inexperienced and I'm afraid he is not politics material. On the other hand he is dead honest and most certainly the establishment will bring him in as the new Prime Minister in the upcoming elections. Can't make up my mind, if I should be happy or sad. God save us all.

You mean he allegedly disbanded local accountability that involved many politicians including Khattak in the alleged charges of corruption as chairman of PTI is dead honest? The house that he owns in Islamabad, the pricey apartment that he owns in UK, and the campaigns that he runs on donations that is mostly for hospitals based on rumor. That honest? No one is that honest, and certainly, not the one with the history of u-turn. No offense!!!

I know reading comprehension problem is very common with Imranistan. So think of it as Eid gift for decoding the quote to make it easier for you to understand.

Caretaker governments formed by experts in fields such as experienced politicians, bureaucrats, technocrats, economists and retired generals.

Imran Khan has no clue about the economy. How do you expect him to run the nation? He was unprepared in 2013 and he still is. It is quite risky to put clueless politician with no background on economy since he thrives on donations to run hospitals and campaigns such as dharnas.

He isn't the only one running the nation!! :omghaha: He has several Ministers to do the work in his government, regarding the economy. Stop being a kid.

.
And safest bet at the moment is not an angel but an evil genius,

No one is angel any ways.... no matter how pti portrays themselves...
Most of ranks are ex ppp... who don't see pppp winning so have switched sides to pti.... it will be loot and plunder if they come to power.... full stop

.
I know him. He's a dead honest guy. However, not fit to lead a country of 200 (Pakistani) million. His brain works in a more organized way, which Pakistan sadly isn't.

I don't know why you are feeling hurt considering Imran Khan has admitted being unprepared during 2013. Perhaps you should take it up with Imran Khan since that status hasn't changed yet for the obvious reasons.

He's prepared now, can you comprehend anything at all?

I could think of many things that would prove otherwise. That being said, i am gonna let delusion runs its wild. :D

He is 64 years old politician still resort to the same mistakes as done in the past. He is far from the ready never mind being prepared for the upcoming challenges.

Prove it then.

That is matter of personal lifestyle which suggests otherwise. I am sure you know very well. So i cannot mention on the personal lifestyle to stray away from the topic. :D

Hint: U-turn. All the best!

As I said. I'm in agreement with you on many points, however, let's not call him dishonest. Which he is not. Naive maybe, challenged maybe, but not outright liar or dishonest.

I am not calling him dishonest. I am just saying no one is that honest. Not even General Raheel who couldn't maintained impartial accountability in regards of Musharraf in the recent past.

Chauhdry Nisar, he did well as interior minister. But he also was retarded right wing who gave too much importance to extremist mullahs of Difae-e-Pakistan in Islamabad. Ahsan Iqbal is much better upgrade and I hope Nisar now never comes back in any important position.

Pakistan will have change whole policy, these mullahs will not defend Pakistan. Taliban Khan will also have to change stance on taliban, not TTP but also Haqqanis. Every Pakistani support afghan taliban struggle against foreign occupation but we can't be open about it in current environment.

Who looks more ready to lead Pakistan?

I love Imran Khan, 2nd best option after N-league unless later fail to deliver by june 2018 on electricity shortages.

As far as i can see electricity shortages will continue till 2020. But there are so many more issues that should have been addressed. For example Pakistani kids stunted growth due to malnutrition, increasing population, decreasing jobs, lack of educational and health facilities.

Even if we ignore the corruption of N-League, they have their priorities wrong. People don't need metros or orange trains. The basic role of a government is to provide the following:

1. Provide Health Services to all
2. Provide quality Education to all
3. Promote National Unity and Harmony
4. Provide Security and Justice to its citizen
5. Grow the Economy.

I recently read a very interesting piece in an article (Unfortunately i can't seem to find now) in it the author tried to explain why do Pakistanis prefer to give charity than pay taxes. He said "People have to send their kids to private schools/collages/universities because their are no quality public schools/collages/universities available. People have to go to a private hospital/clinic because there are none good public hospitals. People have to use private security guards for protection because the govt is unable to provide security. So why should people pay taxes when they don't get any value in return.

So you see my friend, N-League and PPP have been unable to provide Pakistanis these basic services even though they have been playing musical chair for the top seat and thats the reason that people like me now look towards Imran Khan.

@PakhtunBradar If look was everything, then Tipu Sultan would never become leader of his nation. Look can be deceiving. In USA, look is considered in demeaning ways.

Investment on energy sectors started in the year of 2014. Since we don't know the state of the energy sectors, it is safe to assume that it is gonna take another few years depending on the future governments.

General Musharraf had perfect opportunity to focus on energy sector. To this day i don't understand why he launched one of energy project so late in the same year his reign ended. I had high hope from him.
