IMF man to head State Bank of Pakistan

.
Dictation nhi lein ghey hum IMF sey bus IMF k samne leet jahein ghey

Then make the decision NOT to go to the IMF. Pakistan has a choice to make here. Trust PMIK to make the decision that he feels is the best for Pakistan.

I was once in a policy group. The guy teaching us was a harvard grad and ex BCG big shot. So we were having this discussion on IMF and WB bailouts and his thoughts were a lot of times politicians are more comfortable with them as they can both do proper course correction structurally and also politically mitigate risks by painting IMF/WB as the bad guys who are making them do these austerity measures.

Ergo, PMIK is to be trusted to make the decisions best for Pakistan.

Prime minister which switch statement/policy every now and then has no credibility in my eyes. He made right statements about IMF only when he was in opposition

We need to be patient and trust PMIK for the remainder of his term. He has a lot of heavy legacy baggage to deal with before the economy shows the benefits of the decisions he is making now.

But you know money is beautiful, even more beautiful when it is in dollars. To earn dollars is harder but to borrow dollars is easier and therefore has always been the modus operandi for all the governments throughout the financial history of pakistan.

What in the actual fu$k are you talking about? The money America owes is different from this issue. Sweetie I recomend talking a look at your country's loans. Might want to wear a diaper though.

The USD is going to die soon as we all know on PDF. Pakistan should diversify now and be ready to deal in Yuan when that change happens. What has happened in the past was the Purana Pakistan. This is now the Naya Pakistan and the old ways of doing business simply will no longer apply.

For the transitional period, whatever decisions PMIK will make with regards to IMF will of course be in the best interests of Pakistan.

I am patient . Its poor and middle class in Pakistan who are impatient and cannot wait for naya Pakistan..every government has to dealt with heavy legacy baggage of previous government ..You will also hear next government will be moaning about how PTI destroyed economy and has not spent loan well during their tenure while condition of poor awaam will be getting worse dy by day..Nawaz/zaradi sab kuch kha gey wala chooran zyada dair nhi bhikey ga..You gave people hope and dreams and they will expect you to performs according to it

Don't want to go to the imf? Get your fellow countrymen to register as tax payers, and start paying their taxes.

The IMF's main demand isn't even the CPEC details, it's getting Pakistan to increase its tax base, and it's tax to gdp ration to +20%

That's not even unreasonable. It's something Pakistan should be doing by itself, yet the imf has to force it to do so.

90% of the people who criticize the imf have no idea how it works. And the 10% that do, they don't use stupid excuses.

Let us give this present government its full term in office before we judge its record and vote for the next one, the same or different will depend on the results delivered.
