We got to also remember two facts -
- He is PM of a rickety, cobbled together coalition government with very weak mandate which makes decisions or hard decisions very difficult and more open to manipulation from vested interests.
- within the elected members there is shortgage of talent which is why PMIK has been forced to induct people as 'advisors' and he is further contstrained by a narrow minded, bigoted culture which limits his choices. We saw what happened when he chose Atof Mian the Ahmedi economist.
If he can make a dent in illiteracy, poverty, health then that at least is something and lays the foundation for the future.
