IMF man to head State Bank of Pakistan

.
What sarcasm? Please read my post above with a straight face until you believe all the simple words I wrote again and again, until you believe them just like I did, and do.
:laugh::sarcastic:

But who told you that any country will let repatriation of any kind of money from their country to pakistan, And Ishaq Dar was a liar just like any other politician in pakistan, they are all bunch of liars and POS.

Since when transferring money from foreign banks to Pakistan is illegal? Are you suggesting that forigen countries will block this? That will be a criminal offence from their part , akin to waging war against Pakistan.

Look, Saudis have done it, should be no issue for us.

Now if you believe that zardaris and nawaz of this world have made their empire by all legal means then good luck to you.

He is not perfect and I got some more news for you. This won’t be his last blunder. Imran Khan will make mistakes. No doubt about it. We knew that from day one. Some mistakes are avoidable and some due to lack of experience. There is no malice.

Under the current circumstances he is the best we got. What options do you suggest? Should we bring Zardari or Nawaz Sharif back to power? If that is acceptable to you we can give it a thought.

Look, this guy inherited fvcking gigantic mess. He has to fix something that is incredibly broken. Some nasty decisions will have to be taken. They are going to be massively unpopular etc. It doesn’t matter who is in office. Whether it is Imran Khan or my cousin. They all have to face the same problems. There is no easy escape here.

We elected garbage for 40+ years. Now we have to be ready to face the consequences.
:-) :agree:

When was the last time policy was discussed in the parliament under the watchful eyes of the speaker and presided over by the caliph oops i mean Prime of the Ministers.

You want to discuss other issues, open thread and discuss there.

My issue is borrowing from IMF, let there men run your economy, show zero progress in recovering looted wealth for which the incumbent government was voted in.

The bottom line is, there is ZERO difference in previous regimes and incumbent one when it comes to economic management of country. Reliance on foreign entities is there in it's full glory.

But you would be fine if this was done under the guise of business?

Soooo; NS, Zardari, IK all in the same boat? I'm fine with all of them going down :)
As far as the words of ALLAH swt' in Quran, they all sail in the same boat. --- if you are fine, than stay away from them.

I keep hearing if not Imran Khan, than who -- it's time that Pakistanis understand that all these rulers are our Ugly Reflection --- We must understand that appointment of rulers is not in our hands. ---- We simply get rulers according to our deeds.

All i am saying that countries who are dependent on IMF do not have independent foreign policies.

That in a time where imposed war is an actual fact of life in Pakistan is more than alarming. It has reached level crisis.
I feel disappointed that our people don't understand this simple fact.

So it's going to be perpetual reliance on IMF and world bank till judgement day, when there is an easy fix and quick solution to recover looted wealth in the coffers of the state?

I have no issues in temporary dealings with these enemies of Pakistan, the international establishment, if the government is showing satisfactory progress in matter which are totally in its control, e.g recovering looted wealth. As I said, the accountability minister is hiding in some hole and gone missing for months now.

the government has to legislate and engage their counterpart in foreign turf to settle the payment. its not like there is literal cash lying around somewhere.

and yes we are in perpetual state of going round and round for 22 families and their businesses.

Saudis have done it, because all the executive, legislative and judicial authority of the state is vested in a single person, called king. IK doesn't have even an iota of that authority, under the Constitution of Pakistan. He, or anyother PM, is totally powerless, in this regard. So giving example of KSA is totally irrelevant. Currently, this power is with NAB, which can also be controlled by superior judiciary.
