The IMF just released the October 2015 WEO (ie. World Economic Outlook). There are two eye-popping new trends.
Firstly, beginning in 2016, China's nominal per-capita GDP will surpass Russia and Brazil.

Secondly, it is shocking how huge the Chinese economy has become in comparison to the other BRIC countries.
For this year, the Chinese nominal GDP is almost ten times larger than the Russian economy. Now that's big.
