" According to Kramnik, Russian negotiators, originally seeking to export a larger order of 48 planes, are also negotiating safeguards in the event that China makes a copy of its plane, as was the case with its Su-27 fighter jet, which was copied by the Chinese J-11 jet.

Other potential buyers include Pakistan and Brazil, with Kramnik also referring to figures from manufacturer Polet, which makes parts for the Su-35, showing increased production of its onboard system in order to fulfil orders for a total of 60 aircraft from Vietnam, Venezuela and Indonesia.

The Sukhoi Su-35 is set to follow in the wake of the Soviet Union's legendary Su-27 and Su-30 fighter jets in becoming a major military export.

Russia’s Sukhoi Superjet Production Unaffected by Western Sanctions
Negotiations for the export of the Sukhoi Su-35 fighter jet are coming to fruition, with orders from buyers in South American and Asian countries expected to be agreed upon in the near future, sources close to talks on the export of the aircraft have told military correspondent Ilya Kramnik.

Russia to Buy as Many T-50 PAK-FA Fighters as Manufacturers Can Produce
The Sukhoi Su-35 fighter is a single-seat twin-engine super-maneuverable multirole fighter, built by the Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aircraft Production Association in Russia's Far East and designed by Sukhoi, which has a contract to deliver 48 of the planes to the Russian Air Force before the end of 2015.

The Su-35 is known as a 4++ generation aircraft, which employs fifth generation technology, rendering it superior to other fourth generation fighters currently under development. The Su-35 is also a more reliable option than other fifth generation planes which are in their development phase, the best known of which are the US F-35, the Chinese J-20, and the Sukhoi PAK-FA [T-50].

The PAK-FA is due to finish testing and enter into production in 2016, after which 55 PAK-FA jets will be delivered to the Russian Air Force.

The Su-35, currently the Russian Air Force's most advanced fighter, first caught the eye of buyers and the public at the Paris Air Show in June 2013, where pilots displayed the aircraft's impressive acrobatic capabilities, including the Pugachev Cobra maneuver.

Kramnik reports that the sticking point between the Russian and Chinese negotiators over the size of the order is nearing a resolution, and expects a compromise order of 24 fighters for China's Air Force.

According to Kramnik, Russian negotiators, originally seeking to export a larger order of 48 planes, are also negotiating safeguards in the event that China makes a copy of its plane, as was the case with its Su-27 fighter jet, which was copied by the Chinese J-11 jet.

The Su-35 is a successor to the Su-30, a two-seater fighter which entered into service in 1996 and has been exported to militaries in South America, Asia and Africa, with the biggest orders coming from China, which operates more than 100 of the jets, and India, where 200 are in service.

The Indian Air Force revealed the enhanced capabilities of the Su-30 in a 2004 training exercise between the US and India; Indian pilots in the Su-30 were able to outmaneuver the US F-15s and win more than 90 percent of the mock air engagements conducted during the exercise.

Their must be some smoke at PAF even to help Russians to bait India towards Russian Defence Industry more and in return get some other lucrative deals I.e RD 93 MA....@Oscar
Otherwise PAF whole philosphy negates SU35 Induction.

I like the way world chess games been played. By following multilateral diplomacy one can keep their friendly country's enemies as some leverage over their friends. Its really amazing to see how russians using this strategy to make india to buy sufficient number of su35S for the past 4 years and very largely from the last two years. Now itd time to show India what russia can do.For India its huge loss than buying it. So guess we could expect additional orders for Su30 mki or batch of Pakfa or modified Su35S .

We should stop this right away. We should keep Pakistan with in US costly jets which will affect their economy and openly watched by US. Russian arms will not only be cheap but very advanced too. we cant alow this to happen .Let tye Chinese shed money and the Poor quality will keep Pakistan airforce in check.

Give me credit for this i was one and few others supporting SU 35 for paf now PAF should also come forward this jet is same price tag of F 16 almost hop Paf now make sense we need SU 35 with india rafale Su 30 mirages Mig 29K we are behind in number and quality.

Our airforce is one dimensional we need jet which give suppirting role to F 16 and JF 17 our murages are at end of life do not count them

And as our sea border is increased we need more jets and ships jets which has twin engine wirk vetter when on sea mission

With growing indian navy we need sophisticated air arm

.
Su 35 and the pakistani fightet pilots what a deadly combination. This jet in our inventory won,t let the IAF sleep at night.
bUY the time you Acquire it we already get FGFA .Plus MKI will get Super-30 upgrade

The Costly Maintenance it requires with the pecked Price of 75-80 Million $ Better to get j-31 at this cost For PAF

As for Pakistan, well I did hear a rumour about it through a contact on Twitter and he seemed pretty excited over the thought of the Su-35 in a lineup alongside the FC-31 and F-16. At the time I didn’t hear anything more about it, and this is the first I’ve heard of it since. Could it be credible? Well that comes down to a real question of whether or not Islamabad could afford it alongside the FC-31.

Leaving aside all questions about this being a negotiation tactic employed by Russia on India, I wonder how much bandwidth is there in Pakistan's Budget to purchase and then maintain these jets along with their existing procurement plans such as submarines, FC-31, new tanks etc. The case in point being India which has to drastically cut down it's orders of Rafale despite having a much better economy, growth rate, reserves and arms budget.

It would do well to keep in mind that unlike cash rich China Russia won't be offering a soft loan or generous pricing. They would expect their full pound in flesh.

Rest is upto you. Good Luck!!
