It is impossible for military to control whole of India because of geographical size and secondly population is not happy with government but no one even thinks about military rule........

The mily controls China, Russia and they say, covertly even USA. Mauryas, Asoka, Sultans, Mughlas and the Brit - all controlled India with the mily. I believe Sundarji was already thinking on those lines. Anyway, with your senior officers now hobnobbing with the Americans, it is a matter of time when they will take heart like elsewhere.

Military rule is impossible in India due to its size, population & cultural and linguistical differences. Also for Martial Law to function properly the Armed forces should be in one page. Its easy for Pakistan as most of its soldiers as well as Bureaucrats (another ingredient of Martial Law) comes from Punjab and share the same culture & language.While its not so in India. Also to keep 1.2 billion population under jack boots is a very very difficult task.

haha i remember i have a best fren from kerla we were callled tom and jerry back in blore.... always got in fight with him over north india and south india. she used to make fun of hindi movies and when ever she started malyalam i would take a glass put a coin in it and started shaking.... Someday kerla would remember me for translating khalis UP hindi abuses to malaymam for my honorary work

North Indians = smart workers always thinking about doing things in a diffrent way
South Indians = Hard workers will do anything to get it done. Intelligent very process oriented
North East Indians = Did anyone see that guy with awesome guitar?
West Indians (Gujratis ) = Innocent and very buisness minded
Maharastrians = Proud of their legacy. sorta short tempered
UP wallas = I love to say " main jaha se aayi hoon waha bache pehle maa nahi bolte pehle maa behan bolte hain"
Biharis = This what they do to Indians what Indians do to rest of the world Sarcasm
Bangaloreans = Is english the national language of Banglore? Ahhhhh its so good to see a kanadiga in Karnataka in Blore
Andhra = There is nothing called less spicy and less rice please
Chennai = Ok chennai rocks for tamils but seriously my HR used to threaten me if i didnt followed her she will transfer me to chennai.
Kerla = Mallu chicks...
Orissa = Good guys
Goa = drunkards paradise.

well in India no one is on the same page. India is all about diversity. Accent changes every 100 km and language changes in every 400km culture changes in every 500km. It is impossible for the single alien leadership to keep the nation united. The only way to keep it united is the locals reporting to the central higher authority chosen by the people.
