Identifying 50 Issues with J-10A for PAF

I cannot divulge numbers, neither confirm or deny this. But on a general note, the axel cycle control facility where turbofans are researched are exclusively with chinese. No country allows this kind of access incld. China but pending the contract are obliged to transfer the fabrication technology developed in these labs. We had open access to their fabtech facilities. This is the fate accomply till 2005. Your understanding and contacts should be more uptodate.
Im not sure if we are referring to the same context. I am referring to the airframe and integration. The CaC team was short of some personnel so we stepped in but did need some hand holding. Basically the project needed a push so we tried to do that. I do not believe it had any exposure to powerplant beyond working with CaC and Russians on getting the pilot batch into Chengdu.

Not issues, AVM said we wanted some 50 upgrades/improvements. How can a jet fly even with one serious issue.
The point made was that PAF wanted 50 improvements made to bring the platform in line with what PAF expected in the aircraft. The Chinese were of the opinion to take the aircraft as is. The issues were mostly around avionics, MMI and weapons and not about aircraft aerodynamics etc.

The word "Issues" originated from the tweets of Alan Warnes... But what you are saying here makes complete sense and that is exactly what this debate is about. What exactly were offered in terms of avionics, MMI and Weapons and what PAF demanded. How much the gap there. A Significant one, or marginal one. If it was significant one, what was such a significant demand of PAF and if it was marginal one then why it has not been inducted as stop gap despite the fact two much improved versions are there?

Airframe was frozen by CADI well into 2001 at D&I stage. Avionics was exclusively developed at H6 avionics lab. We had little to none experience with RTCA/DO-178B guidelines. Those were difficult times. Must definitely is better now. I was there.
I I am referring to the airframe and integration.

I know people working at Lockheed Martin and there is not even a rumor about block 70 for Pakistan. Whoever spreading the news is either sitting in corporate offices of Lockheed Martin and doing the negotiations or just a YouTuber trying get some views.
As far as I know there is no news about new F-16 block 70 deal for Pakistan, nothing from Pakistani Embbacy in DC. As I have mentioned before, CFC will be released to Pakistan and Trump/Pentagon might allow used/surplus F-16s but that depends on peace in Afghanistan and what role Pakistan play in it.
There is nothing written on the stone, things are constantly changing.
How about buying used one and upgrading it at TAI

Used F-16s ? need US Gov approval. Likely will come if able to procure newer jets ( similar to what happened when F-16 Block 52+ were purchased and A/B were MLUed to Block 52+ standard.

Newer jets IMO will take sometime but as a stop gap used is an option
