IAF's Sukhois to be stationed near Pakistan border

the only sense i can make of this indian move is that its a diversion....under orders from USA.
Pakistan has been closely watching western airspace.....and every drone attack has been monitored.....
now wih IAF knoching the doors on eastern borders...pakistans attention will divert...and drones and probably nato ground forces will be able to strike deeper inside....
why would they want to snd drones deeper inside?
because they want to mark the positions of pakistans nuclear weapons....
once that is done...they can accuratel destroy pakistans nuclear arsenal at any time..then pakistan will be a much easier target for three united enemies aching to wage war on pakistan......india: afghanistan...usa ....trio of warmongers .

Then why are you reacting so much in this thread??????

Anyways Indians have a right to station their aircraft anywhere with their territory, however the timing of this is what amazes me. Are the Indians feeling like lions in the shadow of the US?

I'm just trying to assess if Indians are trying to send Pakistan a message. We are not really worried. Thanks for your concern.

Pakistan doesn't have to even react to Indian fighters, because most likely they will fall apart in the sky on their own.

and then what?? airforce doesnt work alone .. there are a lot of things and a lot of planning before airforce comes into action to make it.

you should be in fact worried about the american action in North Waziristan who is in ACTUAL carrying out attacks on your soil. try to come out your green delusion and see the reality. there is nothing happening on your eastern front. it's just a news and you guys are lolllll ...

Agree India needs to protect it self.

We dont want USA-Pakistan conflicts spilling over the border.

Why would your own buttbuddies pose a threat to you?

If that is the only reasonable explanation you can come up with, then I have no chance of telling what is reasonable to me. I would suggest you to look at Indo - Pak relations with India and Pakistan's capabilities and not what US or China has or can do. Let us stop worrying about them because at the end of the day each man is responsible for his actions and consequences.

Do you have a better explanation? I did not understand what you are trying to say here.

He is trying to say we never know in case of full scale war if china will come to help pakistan or if america or russia wil come to help india,we both countries should be independent enough to fight our own battle and the consequences of a full scale battle everybody knows :)

This GOI surely knows to waste time effort and money on borders we don't need the MKIs for. WTF are we going to do with MKIs on Pakistani border? Kill a bunch of deranged militants? Technically a majority of MKIs must be stationed in the eastern command while keeping the Tejas, MiG-29UPG, Mirage-2000-9, MRCA etc on the western border. We need ranged jets for eastern borders. Getting to keep a 5,000 Km+ capable jet on western border is an overkill.

Agreed, but on the other hand it might be there for a reason.

If any terrorist organization gets pakistan nuclear weapons than in that case sukhoi mki near the border will be handy to destroy them so that it does not produce an impact on the whole world .Everybody knows there nuclear installations are not save.

These things can fly! You don't have to set them next to border?

Sir you must be aware that delay of five minutes can have drastic impact and we have large rajasthan border along with pakistan. Also, don't forget rajastan is not that far from ladakh as well,so that base can be used for eastern as well as western border,i think its a strategic move and we should appreciate.

Sorry to rain on your parade , but you can station the Sukhois all along the boundry line, it only matters when they actually cross the border. As a matter of fact they did once near Lahore but sadly didn't stay around long enough to make any headlines, however before they fled, some F-16s were able to squarely frame them in their gun sights. Well the guy who saw those hud shots just happen to retire today. Who knows, what he may disclose in his memoirs. ;)
In the meantime let the MKIs thrill you with it's aerobatics. :)

I have pilot friends in the IAF and they do cross the border into Pakistan on most of their early morning sorties. They generally fly low for a period of time and return back.
