IAF's fighter plane Sukhoi 30 crashes in Nagaon in Assam

.
But single engined Mirage 2000 has a comparable record with PAF F 16
And that too flew real combat sorties in kargil
OK then, tell me, does it have the record of 100 000. incident free flight hours, PAF F-16s have bagged over a dozen kills against Afghan/Soviet aircrafts, how many kills do the Mirages have , while PAF F-16 were flying daily sorties, Caps and intercept missions for almost a decade against Afghan/Soviet threat and for at least last five years have been active routinely against the terrorists. How many sorties did the Mirage fly during Kargil. ??
More over in over 30 years of operation, PAF lost 8 F-16s..... how many Mirages have the IAF lost, which were inducted much later than the F-16s. !!!

.
Fighter jets crash all over the world, India and Pakistan are no exception.
However the difference is that all PAF front line jets are single engine where as IAF mostly operates twin engine like SU-30, MiG-29 and the Jaguar. It's when these jets crash, it becomes concerning. Also remember that PAF aircraft have regularly been flying combat missions for the last several years.
Irrelevant

US lost Atleast 6 F18 and F 15 both are Twin engines apart from other aviation losses in 2014 alone.

Indian SU 30 and MIG 29 and Newer Mig 29K has outstanding recored as far attrition rate is concerned of a Big Air Force.

Average IAF pilots get between 200 - 250 flying hours with SU 30 pilots said they’ve been getting 300 flying hours per year and that the majority of those hours was spent in full-up combat training.

Oh, so now you are comparing with US.....do you have any idea about the operational demands and duties covered by the USAF. Apart from their daily requirements, the missions over Iraq and Afghanistan and elsewhere. Pretty lamb comparison to say the least.

.
This is the 6th crash so far....?
Dayem.

As a big air force we can afford that and Insha'Allah replace it with new SU 30 like previous one's.

But PAF as a small force suffer from chronic Aviation crash problem.

In 2014

Indian military suffer 10 Aviation crashes

while Pak suffered 8

not a big difference you see.

Why 2014 only?

Buddy you lost 50% of your Mig21 fleet in crashes....i don't even recall when PAF lost half of it's type in such crashes.

Let's talk about the crashes from 1980-2015..? Do you wanna do that?

. .
2 pilots one crash? That's unfair; get them another plane so they can crash it as well and even out the pilot:crash. You got the moooneyy you can afford 1000 such crashes. o_O

Offcourse

i will post that too but remember you are a small military so understand the ratio in that context.

Not only Aviation i keep an account with pics of Military incident, casualties,POWs of South Asian militaries from various sources even from terrorists website like Omar Media.

They were not crashed in combat sortie and plZ there is hardly any combat in what you claimed,Bombing a TTP shantytowns with no AA threat is hardly an achievement.

I just compared the crash rate.Because IAF does not get into combat often. And during kargil the PAF chose to stay away.So we cant judge the performance of Mirage 2k
But Mirage was inducted way back in 1984 ,and only 8 have been lost since then.

Dear God, This is apparently sixth SU-30 to crash...it means sixth since the SU-30 were inducted.... similarly, when talking about USAF, you take into equation the overall flying effort which translates to all form of sorties. Even if there is no real danger from the ground environment, you are still flying excessive sorties, doing more take offs and landings, spending more time in the air, carrying load, wear and tear.....hence on top of their normal routine flying, the likes of USAF and PAF are having to do more than say IAF.....and in real combat scenario, it also polishes their skills.

PAF stayed away because the few sorties IAF did were on India side of LOC, for we all know the MiGs that crossed over into Pak airspace, never returned. And you may want to check the figures on Mirage losses.

. .
moiasts have claimed responsibility of shooting down indian jet fighter
and this weapon was used......

I must say safety record of HAL assembled Sukhoi is really bad.

Now IAF will ground the whole fleet for 2 months :D
Yeah and your roohani power told you that it was a HAL assembled plane ?

Some crash landings happened..but birds were not lost
Only 8 have been lost

Good news that pilots are safe. It really hurts when these exceptional gentlemen lose their precious lives. Thank God pilots are safe. But man what's going on with Indian flankers nowadays .??
They are facing serious engine problems for years now
