reason being kargil was not the war.its only india which calls it war to satisfy its ego.Kargil was of the siachin type skirmish.

It was India which started Siachen and hold it even today, whereas it was Pak which started kargil and......

Stop living in the past and move ahead people. Whether we had a superior airforce at that time or not is merely speculation at this point. We didnt use it, there was a failure in leadership, we tried to project power by implementing the forward policy but we didnt spend enough for the military. Ultimately we didnt even see the Chinese attack coming. So it was a strategic and political failure, and a single entity like the airforce being able to turn that around to an Indian victory, makes for a good argument, but I highly doubt it. Given the fact that the Chinese could have used their airforce too. And the fact that they had night operations capability.

As for people like ajtr, please ignore such idiots. Their very anger and frustration that leads them to troll is proof of India's success against Pakistan. Nothing can take that away from us whatever they say, and nothing will change for them. So if they wanna give themselves a heart attack over it, well, so be it.

It's true that IAF lost about 60 aircrafts but clost to 60% were lost on ground due to very poor early warning system of IAF.On the other hand,IAF lost no more than 15 fighters in air-air combat which is somewhat close to PAF's loss of 10 or something aircrafts in air-air combat.

And what about 1965??Huh??Your army attacked us to capture J&K,then failed to achieve its objective and ended up.loosing 2000 sq kms of territory in Sialkot and Lahore sector,lost more men,tanks despite of having both numerical and qualititave advantage.Now you decide who won.
