On topic..If those laws are in place and such units do exists (apart from CBI), then clearly they are ineffective. I must agree with certain observations on the news last night that certain organisations are making the rape issues a political issue. However, the problem still exists. And going by your claim that the accuseds in the Kathua case are innocent, and assuming even that Muslims committed the crime, do you still disagree that outrageous forms of rape and molestation of women is on the rise in India?

I am referring to the incidents of ghastly rapes ..killing of the victims and the fact that victims are being raped in mosques and temples. Then again, India once being the conservative society which it was and the fact that the media is becoming more vocal in reporting, shouldn't there be more action taken by the police and the politicians to reassure the local population and visitors to India that action is being taken. Why the defensive posturing by politicians and locals such as yourself?

Someone's crime cannot be justified by another criminal's crime ......... why don't you get it that instead of protecting your own ...... you the common Indians should be united to kick out these rapists. If they have raped a Muslim today, they will rape a Dalit tomorrow, then a Christian and then ....... do you seriously think they would spare your modest women? Why don't you see its a problem with your society.
