once in power the leadership of the party either compromises and deviates from its promises or is appraised of some information that was no available outside the government setup.
but still there are not many examples of extensions of Army generals in the world just because there are negotiations happening and there are some conflicts. Military setup works like clockwork where there are very able and experienced officers promoted due to their abilities and exposure to challenging environment so its a weak claim that any other 3 star generals immediately under Gen Bajwa couldnt follow through the plans
actually they are the ones who are doing the actual work while Bajwa is conducting meetings and getting updates or himself giving updates to Americans when they or he visit each other.

Afghan solution is not going to happen anytime soon and Kashmir situation will continue to deteriorate for a long time, I wonder does it mean he needs to have an extension forever?
why some general cant take over from him now if its going to happen after 3 years? if the reasoning for extension become more worse then how another general will be able to take over from him if the Afghan peace talks are still on going and India is talking about invading Azad Kashmir?

Sir we should believe in the institution and should not glorify certain personalities. We should learn from the example of Hazrat Umar when he removed Hazrat khalid Bin Waleed as the military commander and said:-
"I have not dismissed Khalid because of my anger or personal ill will against him. I have not dismissed Khalid because he was dishonest. I have dismissed him because the people glorified him and were misled. I feared that the people would rely on him. I want the people to know that it is Allah Who does all things; and that there should be no wavering in the faith of the people in Allah by attributing success in any field to any human being."
It is the institution and Allah's help that bring us victory, not an individual. People of pakistan have been mislead and made to believe that the other corp commanders are useless.

This is your naya pakistan where IK strongly opposed the decision of the previous governments and now he is doing exactly what he said he won't do. Since the inception of pakistan we have always had problems and this does not mean we give extensions.

Bro keep it cool . When you are in opposition you condemn every action by the sitting Gov to attract crowd this doesn't mean opposition will not do it when they gain power . Likewise Do really you think Congress talking against removal of 370 is from their heart , from inside they would be happy because Muslims will be oppressed , but this is politics you oppose what the Gov does that is why the name "opposition"

Bro listen , in the coming days you will see his statements becoming more aggressive towards the issue and the situation growing. There is a procedure and way of action for every issue you cannot get up from sleep and say " India pe hamla kardo".

If you cared about the institution then you will not be busy trying to land some political goals, while knowing the situation of the country.
No one changes military leadership in the middle of a war, and we are in the middle of a war even if you mind fails to comprehend it yet.

One does not become hypocrite if they believe in something and later change their belief after learning more. we are all evolving.

Hazrat Khalid Ibn Walid R.A had utmost respect Caliph Umar R.A and bowed down silently and with grace after being recalled and removed from his position. his only regret was that despite all the wounds on his body he never embraced shahadat while fighting for Islam.

for me Hazrat Umar r.a logic and reasoning is enough but I cant dismiss the chance that there were people who on purpose spead the news in a way to hurt Hazrat Khalid r.a career

there is no comparison with Pakistani leadership. here the GHQ wields a lot of power over the politicians and if one says that Gen Bajwa has given himself the extension then it wont be far off. he may have done it with good intentions and greater good but it just screws the institution and makes it no different to a leadership of a Pakistan political party where one is only removed after death
