This is honestly why I, despite the corruption and nepotism, I am still with PMLN. I wish the best for PMIK. Pakistan above parties. But PMLN is the one party that since 1998 has stood against the soldiers running the show. And that is what we need. It wasn't MNS who lost Siachen without a fight. It wasn't MNS who poked India in Kargil and got nothing in return other than pissing of the US and awakening India to Kashmir once again. It wasn't MNS who folded like a cheap suit in front of Rumsfeld. And yet the people responsible for these blunders are never questioned and always get away with it. If we only knew the corruption of the higher officers it would make Zardari look like a local ghunda.

I am not saying PMLN is some perfect party. But other than Imran Khan himself not stealing, what is this govt and his ministers doing? Not much.

I hope PTi succeeds. I hope our forces keep the nation safe. I pray for it. But we need to at least acknowledge that bowing before the generals has got us nowhere but in our current position. And IK promised something that he is now reneging on daily.

Rest assured, Had IK government not given the extension, they people would had started bashing IK for the exact same reasons mentioned above. They know their leaders are in jail and are done for, and what unjust/unfair advantage they were gaining because of this corruption will come to an end. I have seen people whining how IK has taxed, how FBR will check whether anyone is under invoicing or not. I know people from within my own family who were doing under invoicing. These people now openly bash IK on things like above because they have nothing on his character or corruption, so they come up with remarks such as U turn Khan, Niazi, etc.

Sir we should believe in the institution and should not glorify certain personalities. We should learn from the example of Hazrat Umar when he removed Hazrat khalid Bin Waleed as the military commander and said:-
"I have not dismissed Khalid because of my anger or personal ill will against him. I have not dismissed Khalid because he was dishonest. I have dismissed him because the people glorified him and were misled. I feared that the people would rely on him. Horse trading. IK criticised Nawaz during his term. How can anyone forget the horse trading PTI did just a few weeks back?

Construction projects. IK constantly criticised Nawaz for his mega projects. What does IK do for cheap votes in Peshawar? You're right. He followed in Nawaz footsteps and wasted money on peshawar brt which isn't finishing because of the gigantic corruption.
